Bretton Woods is the largest NH ski resort in this area for alpine skiing, cross country skiing and other winter activities including skating, tubing, and sleigh rides. Many different activities are ongoing at Mt Washington Hotel. All levels of hiking are available at the AMC Crawford Notch Highland Center that is about 10 minutes from here, as well as the Zealand Falls area. It is 20 minutes to Littleton which has the longest candy counter in New England. It is about a 45 minute drive to North Conway which has shopping and other attractions. Just across the street from The Rosebrook recreation center which provides heated swimming pool, racquetball, video games, billiards, and ping pong and is near the downhill ski area. Cannon, Wildcat, Loon and Attitash Mt are within a 30 to 45 minutes away.
