Photos and Description of this Pinarellu holiday house

Our bungalow and the studio are situated approximately 15 km north from the old fortress-city Porto Vecchio. They are situated in a bungalow village with 25 houses. All 25 bungalows are in private property and are individually equipped. In each case three bungalows are built together. The privacy is guaranteed by the arrangement of the terraces into different directions. It is only a 5 minutes walk along a beach road - 250m - and through a wood with dunes to the sandy 2 km long beach. Along the beach you find several snack bars with possibility to drink and eat.

Our bungalow consists of a living room (photo), kitchen with eating place (photo), bathroom with shower room and toilet, separate WC, bedroom and Mezzanine (open gallery). Our bungalow was completely renovated in 1998 and the garden was laid. Since then, the walls are whitened every two years. In the living room on the sleep-couch, a new latex-mattress, 130 x 200 cm, is convenient for allergic guests. Also since 2003 we have put new mattresses in the bedroom (140 x 200 cm and 90 x 200 cm) so that best sleeping comfort is guaranteed. The equipment of the built-in kitchen leaves no wishes: It is completely furnished. Everything exists from the coffee machine over garlic-press up to the dishwasher. The roofed terrace serves as additional area in the summer. Venetian blinds offer precious shadow in summertime. During the whole year, old corks donate their shadow in the bungalow-village.

Pinarello is a touristy growing small fisher village, 15 km north of Porto Vecchio. The newly created boardwalk invites you to enjoy the view of the offshore island with the illuminated tower at night. The long fine sandy beach is ideal particularly for small children as the beach is shallow. There on the sandbank is a very big rubber castle. 10 km inland there are rivers, hiking paths and archaeological diggings.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Deposit of 30% of the rental rate after booking confirmation. The rest is payable 28 days before trip commencement. Prices for two weeks stays include electricity, water, made up beds, a big and a normal towel per person. For shorter stays you pay € 60 for this service. With more than 5 persons, 10 / 15 € / night are added /person.
  • Deposit 400 € per check (return after finish cleaning and sightseeing) payable on the spot to the administration. Please get Euro cheques yourself on time. No cash can be assumed. If your bank doesn't have cheques available, transfer the deposit to the bill-discount and bring the bank-certified remittance-bearer please.
  • Cure fee: 0,50 € / person older than 10 years / night from the 1. 06. - 30. 09.

Further Details: A quite splendid hike (45 ') to the waterfall ' Cascade de Piscia di gallo' on the street of Porto Vecchio after Zonza 700 m behind the reservoir of l'Ospedale. *** From the Pass ’Col de Bavella' with its characteristic crippled jaws before hundreds of reddish crags allows the gaze up to the sea. *** Bain de Caldane: Hot springs and a natural pool (good for dermatitis and rheumatism), 30 km away. *** Day tours with a boat to the Lavezzi island and Bonifacio starting in Pinarello*** Excavations like the prehistoric monument of Torre ( 20 minutes distant), ‘Castellu d'Araghju’ (25 ') and the prehistoric village of Cucuruzzu (1,5 hours). ***Trips on horseback – single hours or all day long. ***Beach-distance: 500 m.***Further tips on request.

Full time trips: Full-time-trips “promenades en mer” – take a boat to the fortress city of Bonifazio with the famous chalk-rocks including lunch on the Lavezzi islands starting in Pinarello.

Rental for a big family: Studio and bungalow can be rented together. Prices and conditions can be negotiated individually.
