My stay at the Commodore....

First, the people at Counts-Oaks who have the keys to the rental property are not very friendly or dependable. We arrived only 30 minutes early to check in and they said the room wasn't ready. They got my cell number and told me they would call in a few minutes when it was ready. Two hours later I hadn't received a phone call so we drove back to the office to find that the room had been ready for a while. This made it very hard on us considering we had an infant with us. We received nothing but bad attitude from these people.
The condo was spacious which is what we were looking for since we had 11 people in our group. The bath towels were provided but there were only 6 towels in the room for the first two days (11 people and six towels don't add up) and the site does not do towel exchanges. Finally, someone associated with the owners brought more towels only after I had went out and purchased more.
The sofa sleeper was broken and we really needed this as a bed due to the number of people in the room.
Overall, the room was nice and the owners seemed nice but there were just too many things that could have been better.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that the renter had problems with the managing office. We have had none in the years since we have used them- also no one had reported the sofa being broken which is repaired. Towels and other linens are placed in the condo as needed. Overall we have had a great season with wonderful guests who have given positive feedback. If there is ever a problem we strive to fix it as soon as possible.
