My husband & I found the log cabin to be exactly as described on the web site. I had viewed the video numerous times, so there were no surprises when we arrived; I was familiar with the appearance of every room. Our accommodations were very comfortable; we really enjoyed the front & back lanai, as well as sometimes sunning ourselves on the lawn while enjoying a good book.
Safety Harbor is a delightful town/village that we walked to while enjoying a leisurely stroll or heading to one of the local restaurants. It seems to be a retirement village & always has weekend activities going on there or in the nearby towns. Being retirees, we fit right in...and the people are very pet friendly, almost everyone has a dog on a leash, so even our beagle enjoyed his vacation.
We found the owners of our rental cabin to be very kind, courteous & friendly, and very concerned about our comfort and enjoyment. We were given permission to pick & enjoy the oranges, grapefruits & lemons on the trees in the yard. They were delicious. Another treat we received upon arrival was to find fresh flowers in every room of the cabin, which certainly went a long way in making us feel very welcomed. Flowers were also blooming on the property. It really is a beautiful location.
We would recommend it & we would return in the future.
