This home is within walking distance to trails and the ski area. In Winter we take the convenient (free) shuttle bus to the ski area, which passes by the front door every 30 minutes until midnight. At the base area another free bus can be taken to downtown Crested Butte to enjoy top end restaurants and entertainment. This outstanding property in the heart of Mt. Crested Butte and near The Mountain (Wedding) Garden. (Rent the Garden Space for parties, receptions and/or weddings. Built in 2005, this luxury home is beautifully appointed with leather furniture and gourmet kitchen. There are oak floors throughout and high end Jenn-Air appliances, granite countertops, and wireless internet.

We have been going to Crested Butte for several years now and have stayed at various homes. Each home has had its strengths. This home was very clean and we had no issues at all. It is a lovely home and well laid out. You could easily give the kids their separate space or be all together comfortably. It was located close to everything that we like to do on the mountain. The owner came by to check in with us and to make sure that we were happy. He was also so helpful in guiding us along in some of our choices for day trips. We quickly felt as if he was a part of the family. I would have no reservations recommending this home.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Great House! Clean! Perfect layout...

Upon arrival, my expectations were blown away. The house was VERY clean and decorated very thoughtfully and with taste. The layout was perfect for my family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The kids had their own TV, beds and entertainment on the ground level, while the adults had piece & quite on the upper level with our own TV, stereo, deck, etc. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that is thinking about a great getaway to Crested Butte. The access to the shuttle and close proximity to town make it ideal! The owner, Phil, even made the extra effort to stop buy the afternoon we checked in to make sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. He even was kind enough to lend us several local trail maps for hiking and biking.

If there is any hesitation in renting this house, rest assured, you will be pleasantly pleased with the accomidations, not to mention the incredible views!
