My house is an over 100 year old vintner's house in the Haute Languedoc nature reserve, an old cultural landscape. The spacious apartment is on the top floor (landlord lives on the ground floor) and has a broad view of the Jaur valley vineyards. It has a living room, bedroom, eat-in kitchen, hall and bathroom and is bright and comfortably furnished. The nearest place to shop is about 4 km away. There is a large terrace for apartment guests only behind the house, it is great for relaxing, eating, reading and much more. You can start your walk or hike right from the house or take a short trip by car and go hiking on marked trails that are spectacular. Many marked trails require you to be in good condition and can go over 1000 m above sea level. All the trails have great views. There are picturesque swimming ravines nearby.

Les Horts is a tiny old hamlet with 13 households in the foothills of the Cevennes. Trails with different degrees of difficulty start at the house. The village is about 300 m above sea level. Walks and hikes always entail small inclinations. The ocean is 70 km away. If you would like to see the location of the apartment on a map, first look for the motorway to Barcelona. Exit the motorway at Beziers-Est and drive via the D 909 to Héripian. There you will turn on the D 908 toward St. Pons. Les Horts is about 4 km from Olargues.

Es war ein traumhaft schöner Urlaub. Die Vielfalt der Landschaft Wasser, Wald und Berge in Kombination mit einer schönen Ferienwohnung, die geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet war. Eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die gern mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand, wenn man etwas über Ausflugsziele oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wissen möchte. Die Empfehlungen waren wirklich gut.
Wir empfehlen dieses Quartier gern weiter, auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass wir dann keinen freien Termin mehr bekommen. Denn wir wollen in jedem Fall wieder dort unsere Ferien verbringen.
