It is located in the mountains above 'Schüpfheim'-a small village in the scenic beautiful 'Entlebuch' between Lucerne (Lake Lucerne) and Berne, capital of Switzerland. It satisfies hunger for hiking in a beautiful landscape - 1st biosphere reservation of UNESCO in Switzerland - or playing golf or in winter skiing in the area of Sörenberg, approx. 15 minutes to get there by car. From the great balcony enjoy the view to the valley and the mountains. You also are invited to have your breakfast in the morning sun at the gallery with its view at meadows and wood. Sitting in front of the fireplace in the large rustically equipped living-room of the middle floor offers relaxation in the evening, too. The garage nearby can be used without any extra-charge. Notes to the rental rates

• Including water, electricity and heating. Additional costs: Final cleaning 156 Swiss francs. Bed linen and towels can be rented at 15 Swiss francs per person and week. The additional costs have to be paid in the chalet in Swiss francs.
  
• During season renting out week by week from Saturday to Saturday, at other times 4 nights at least. 10 percent discount from 2 weeks renting on. At Christmas and New Year's Eve from December 23rd, 2006, until January 6th, 2007, at the price listed above.

Skiing Information:

You‘ll reach the winter sports areas Sörenberg and Brienzer Rothorn at an altitude of 1165-2350 m within 20 minutes by car. Here about 50 km of partly artificially snow-covered pistes of all difficulty degrees with 16 ski-lifts, 1 chairlift, 2 cable-railways, illuminated cross-country skiing routes and toboggan runs will be waiting for you. Season will be from the middle of December till Easter. Within 5 minutes by car you also will be able to reach a smaller skiing area (Heiligkreuz) at an altitude of 1127-1467 m with 1 ski-lift and a cross-country skiing route.
