Welcome to Mika Mizu, serenity in Hilo. Here, you will experience a unique and memorable Hawaiian vacation. Mika Mizu is a spacious one-bedroom cottage (we suggest 2 guests; however, it will accommodate up to 3.) Mika Mizu is located in a natural setting with two waterfalls and abundant flora and fauna. It is less than a mile to historic downtown Hilo, yet you feel far removed. Open since February, 2009, the cottage is stocked with amenities. Provided for you are spices and cooking staples in an efficiency kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, built-in, 2-burner stovetop, a microwave/convection oven, and a gas BBQ grill. Also provided are a computer with high speed Internet and WiFi, a printer/scanner/fax, and cable TV. At our extremely low rates, you will be amazed at this wonderful vacation find. Note: Mika Mizu is not appropriate for children under 8 years of age.

Perfection! The property owners have thought of everything, the house is immaculate, the location stunning. It's so close to downtown Hilo, but feels as if it's completely isolated. The pictures and description don't even do it justice.

The property owners have thought of every detail (i.e. pantry staples, coffee grinder, insect repellent, toiletries, extra bedding and towels, a selection of DVDs, board games, books and maps, etc.) I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Hilo who wants a truly relaxing, peaceful home-base from which to explore the east side of the Big Island.

we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the home & furnishings...location was private, quiet and serene. The new bed was extremely comfortable. i just can't say enough about how this home exceeded our expectations. Nan
