Photos and Description of this Puerto de Mazarron holiday house

Sitting on the large terrace in front of our holiday-house you see our marvellous swimming pool in the middle of our blossoming and green garden. Behind that, you have a nice view of the mountains at the skyline. Even in wintertime you can take a sunbath on our roof-terrace from where you have a nice look to the sea which is about 300 m away. Besides that there is a garden-kitchen surrounded by exotic plants and trees. There also you will find garden furniture and a barbecue grill. Our house was built l999 and we furnished it in October l999. It is very good to relax there and we ourselves use it as often as possible. Therefore, it is very well looked after. Every time when we are there, we put new tiles on the garden walls, install a solar shower or put a new granite plate on the wall near our breakfast corner. Therefore, it is very private. A Large beach and a lot of small protected beach places between mountains with a palm tree-promenade as well as mountains in the background are surrounding a very agile small town with two small ports. This is a holiday place where everybody finds his joy.

Swimming: There is a nice pool only for us and our guests. Besides that, the sea is only 300 m away.

Weather: Costa Cálida is the warmest part of Spain. Even Christmas - when we ask our visitors - they told us: We had a beach day! Isn’t that marvellous? Through all the year, you find a sunny place on our ground.

Puerto de Mazarrón: In this typical Spanish town, you’ll find bodegas, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and even typical English bars and breakfast corners. They are opened throughout the year. Cartagena, the bigger town is only 20 minutes away from Mazarrón.

Die Doppelhaushälfte ist sehr gut ausgestattet, gepflegt (auch Garten, Pool) und sauber. Der Pool ist recht groß, wird wöchentlich gewartet und ist stets in einwandfreiem Zustand. Lage: Am Rande von Puerto de Marazzon (nicht leicht zu finden, aber der Vermieter gibt genaue schriftliche Instruktionen) und nicht weit vom Meer. Zum schönen Strand (davon gibt es kilometerweise) muss man 15 Minuten laufen. Es gibt viele Restaurants, z.B. entlang der Promenade, aber leider viel Fast Food. Der Ort bietet preiswerte Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel (z.B. Lidl !), wenn man Textilien, Schmuck, Lederwaren kaufen will, muss man schon etwas weiter fahren (empfehlenswert: Cartagena, das auch in kultureller Hinsicht viel bietet).
Owner's Response: Danke. wir freuen uns immer sehr, wenn ein gast sich bei uns wohlgefühlt hat und einen schönen urlaub verbracht hat. wir selber sind ca. 3 x im jahr ca. 6 wochen dort und halten immer alles in ordnung. unser ferienhaus ist aber auch ein schmuckstück, und erst das wetter in spanien! Wir haben festgestellt, dass immer ca. 10 bis 15 grad höhere temperaturen als bei uns in norddeutschland dort herrschen. unsere putzfrau erzählte, dass sie selbst weihnachten einen "strandtag" eingelegt haben. wir gehen sehr gern an der promenade essen. im los galayos gibt es z.B. täglich ein menu: salatteller, vorspeise <(3-4 gerichte zur auswahl), hauptspeise (3 - 4 gerichte zur Auswahl), nachtisch, kaffee, dazu 1 fl. wein und eine fl. wasser für 2 personen. das menu kostet 8 euro pro person. so gut und preiswert kann man kaum zuhause kochen. wir freuen uns schon wieder auf den nächsten urlaub.
