The apartment is located in Via Frattina in a 300 years old building and it is on the third floor without lift. It has a very particular flair and is very well furnished. You see the old pavement and the wonderful wooden cyling. The apartment has a comfortable living-dining room with a sofa which can become a good double bed. There is also a round table with 4 chairs. In the huge bedroom you can find a double bed with a very good orthopaedic mattress and a sofa which can become one single bed. There is also a nice wardrobe and an antique writing-desk. This room has a window directly over Via Frattina . Than you have at your disposition also a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a stand-up shower. From the kitchenette you can reach a very nice, romantic terrace in the middle of the old roofs of Rome, perfect to have breakfast or in the evening a glass of wine.

This apartment has a fascinating and outstanding location - just behind the Spanish steps. Via Frattina is located in the pedestrian zone and is one of the most famous shopping streets in the world - the famous Caffé Greco, the bar where the German writer spent many hours, is also just there. Here you can find many different shops, famous ones e none, whatever you wish. Nearby you can find also an open air market and a nice supermarket. All the most important sight-seeing places can be reached by foot, but if you prefer to use the public transportations they are just behind the apartment. The metro-station of Piazza di Spagna can be reached just in 5 walking minutes and behind the apartment you can find several bus-stations in Piazza San Silvestro.

Traumhafte Woche im historischen Zentrum von Rom

Wir waren schon oft in Rom und glaubten, Rom auch ganz gut zu kennen. Umso mehr waren wir überrascht, wie viele neue und überraschende Entdeckungen wir auf den beiden Exkursionen ("Rom bei Nacht" und "Das christliche Rom") mit Giorgio erleben durften.
Natürlich ist die Lage der Wohnung, mitten im historischen Zentrum, das zugleich auch "die" Shopping Zone von Rom ist, phantastisch.
Die romantisch ausgestattete Wohnung verfügt u.a. über ein wirklich komfortables Doppelbett in einem großen Schlafzimmer mit hervorragend lärmgedämmten Fenstern. Einen Fernseher haben wir wirklich nicht vermisst. Die Terrasse über den Hinterhöfen des antiken Quartiers ist für einen Sundowner und/oder Absacker einfach phänomenal.
Die Kochmöglichkeiten sind überschaubar, aber für Frühstück und kleines Essen völlig ausreichend. Auch an das kleine Bad (mit Fenster!) haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt.
Da es im März tageweise ziemlich kühl war, konnten wir auch die gut funktionierende Heizung testen.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Diese Ferienwohnung würden wir nicht nur unseren Freunden und der Familie weiterempfehlen, sondern haben es bereits getan.
Die traumhafte Umgebung in der und um die Wohnung haben sehr zum Genuß unserer Reise beigetragen. Durch die kleine Küche fühlten wir uns sehr unabhängig und in unserer Unternehmungslust im Geringsten nicht eingeschränkt. Außerdem die Dachterrasse, das großzügige Schlafzimmer...Von unseren Vermietern bekamen wir außerdem tiefe Einblicke in's historische Italien. Wir waren begeistert.
Owner's Response: Ich habe auch grosses Glueck und habe immer ganz , ganz nette Gaeste. Es ist eine Freunde so eine private Wohnung zu vermieten. NOchmals vielen Dank und freue mich auch bald die Verwandten bei mir begruessen zu duerfen.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Rom!

Sehr schönes Appartement direkt an der Spanischen Treppe und somit zentraler Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten (z. B. zu Fuß ca. 15 min. zum Vatikan, ca. 15 min. zum Kolosseum). Gemütliche Terrasse in den Innenhof, auf der man den Abend mit einem Gläschen Wein ausklingen lassen kann. Bad, Schlafzimmer, Esszimmer (mit zusätzlicher ausziehbarer Couch, Schlafmöglichkeit für 2 Personen) und kleine Küchenecke vorhanden!!!

Ein Highlight war die Nachttour mit Giorgio! Ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Hier kann man Rom bei Nacht entdecken und es erscheint in einem ganz anderem Licht, ein einmaliges Erlebnis!
