The Berts Family Getaway is the perfect place for small families, couples, and fishermen to have a fun-filled or relaxing vacation! Our lakefront condo is newly purchased, and is completely clean -- with most everything provided! It's located on the top floor of Stripers Landing, a lakefront community of 80 condominiums at Smith Mountain Lake. The top floor provides you with an absolutely gorgeous view of the sunset every evening. From our living room and deck you'll overlook the Olympic-size swimming pool, the boat docks, and the beautiful, tranquil cove. There is one queen-size bed, a double sleeper sofa, and two flip chairs/beds (which are great for kids) -- so you can sleep up to six. Amenities include a TV/VCR, local phone, and central air-conditioning and heating. Linens and bath towels are provided; but please bring your own beach towels.

    There is an additional $50-$100 damage/cleanliness deposit. A $30 cleaning fee will be taken out of the deposit if the condo is left unclean (we provide cleaning supplies for you which most people choose to do it themselves-it's easy). The full deposit will be given back within 30 days after check out and inspection of the Condo. The mandatory taxes (10% total) on the base rent are: a 5% Virginia Sales Tax and a 5% Franklin County Occupancy Tax.

We loved the pool (which was not crowded at all) and the tennis court. Very quiet and peaceful. Coffee on the balcony was a must every morning!
