Located in the village, on the waterfront, a short walk will take you to the local bakery, library, galleries, your choice of superb restaurants, banks, pharmacy, grocery, and farmer's market. Enjoy the beautiful three-mile walking/jogging route which goes past famed, belted Galloway Farm. A swimming beach is within easy walking distance. Bike through the nearby state park, or hike through local mountains. In the evening, enjoy preparing dinner on the deck with the gas barbecue and lobster cooker. Enjoy day trips to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and Asticou Gardens -- and day trip to islands on windjammers.
