This three-bedroom/2.5-bath waterfront home features a spectacular view from the large balcony. The Barataria basin is well known for speckled trout and red fishing, as well as crabbing and shrimping. We can arrange charter fishing guides for you. The house sleeps 11 persons. Amenities include a big-screen TV with HBO and a 400# per day ice maker. Tie your boat to the dock after launching at nearby Joe's Landing -- which is only 500 yards away. Clean your fish or boil crabs and shrimp under a covered pavilion. Let the kids ride in the pedal boat. We are conveniently located just 35 minutes from downtown New Orleans.

Fantastic-For Relaxing, Fishing, Hunting or family gatherings and romantic weekends. The area has siteseeing beauty. 1. Jean Lafitte National Park 2. Four Very nice restuarants3. Fishing and Hunting guides, 4. The people of Lafitte,La. are down to earth and very freindly. I recommend it to all.

Loved the houses & they were incredibly safe & beautiful. We had 13 of us in 2 houses, within the block, & had plenty of room for all of us. The Denise La Blanc house was wonderful & we did everything together there. The weather was cold & wet, but didn't hamper us at all. We went into New Orleans 4 times (40 minutes & no traffic - even over New Years) & loved the entire area. The owners were responsive to all our needs & we'd recommend this to anyone.
