Notes to the rental rates

• 1 large Swimming pool and 1 tennis court and a child’s splash pool for max. 2-3 families. Our rental rates include gas, water, electricity, pool service and using the new tennis-courts. As a bonus you'll have lots of sunshine and joy & fun for everyone. Not included are bed linen and towels. They must be brought one's self. Guests (for example those travelling by airplane, usually unable to have so much luggage), are given the opportunity to rent these at our premises. Ask our caretaker for a set of bed linen and towels. Final cleaning: Cleaning of the home is charged with 40 Euro (security: 200 Euro). The overall cleaning takes place at the end of your visit.
  
• Please send me an e-mail in English. I’m using a very good (German/English) translating-program because I’m a retired German pensioner and hire this exclusive family home for some years in Germany for my old friend Cpt. Hendrik Slansky, which is the owner of the villa in Eucaliptus-Playa. After you’ve called us to confirm your booking, we’ll send you a our rental-agreement. When you received this document, you have to transfer20% of the total amount to our bank in Germany immediately (within 1 week + additional to the U.K. Bank conditions). Then we send you a first confirmation of your payment. 8 weeks before travelling 30% is due. With our second confirmation we’ll send you a detailed description of how to reach your residence in Eucaliptus-Playa. The remaining 50% is paid cash (in Euro) to our caretaker on the day of arrival.
  
• To save less bank conditions it is also possible to transfer 50% of the total amount in one remittance. Animals not allowed.

Arrival and Departure

Arrival is on Saturdays (from 3 p.m.). Departure is Saturdays too (10 a.m. at the latest). After your second down payment (8 weeks before arrival) you will receive a detailed description of how to reach Eucaliptus along with a confirmation of your further remittances. Cpt. Slansky, my friend and international caretaker in Eucaliptus will be happy to welcome you and your family (or even orange juice for the kids) and guide you to your holiday residence personally. With our rental contract we’ll send you a detailed description of how to reach your residence in Eucaliptus-Playa.

Tourist attractions

Bathing season in Eucaliptus lasts from April until the end of October. Some of our visitors from the northern part of Europe (UK, Scotland, Scandinavian countries) prefer the milder weather conditions (with an average of 23°-28° Celsius) in spring or autumn. Bike tours to the flamingos in the lagoons, to Riomar's fishing harbour or to the souvenir shops at the river Ebro. Take a trip to 'Port Aventura'(near Salou), after Disney World Paris the second biggest fun-park in Europe. The 'Castell Miravet' with its ateliers for ceramic art and the stalactite caves of Bennifallet. Waterfalls and storage-lakes as travelling into the countryside. Fish auctions at Sant Carles' yachting-harbour. Excursions to the top of Mount Caro (1440 m), offering a fantastic view on the entire Ebro delta. Cities like Amposta, Tortosa, Cambrils, Tarragona, Miami Platja and Peniscola within short distance from Eucaliptus (10 – 80 km) offer many shopping facilities. Weekly markets on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Sports and other attractions in the vicinity

Spanish 'Fiestas' (Fiesta de Tourismo, Fiesta Deltebre) with live-music and dance on the beach as well as a beach cinemas are major attractions in July and August in the neighbouring town of Riomar, only ca. 30 kilometres from your residence. Many kinds of sports are possible: walking, reading some good books, sleeping, fishing, cycling, tennis, horse riding on the beach, roller blading, mountain biking, windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing and mountaineering. Also you can rent jet-skis, motorbikes, pedal boats and quad-cycles in the area of the Ebro Delta National Park. Eucaliptus-Playa is a resort where you and your family are guaranteed to have a good time and in our well-kept comfortable villa you'll feel at home right away.

Skiing Information:

Skiing is possible in the winter in the area of Andorra in the Pyrenaen mountains.
