Casa Dei Sogni (House of Dreams) is set in the small village of Taponecco near Licciana Nardi, in the Apuane Mountains of Northern Tuscany. There are breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, wonderful walks to be taken from the door of the villa and yet, there is daily fresh-bread service to village (except Sundays) and a mobile market arrives twice weekly. The village itself has no cars, narrow cobbled streets and stone archways, many with the stones for torches still in place. The locals still house cows and rabbits in the cantinas of their villas just as they have for generations.
