For those of you who can't leave the office behind--NEVER FEAR. The house is equipped with a private study with excellent high speed Internet service and a high speed printer. Bring your own laptop and you're in business. Our digital telephone service means that your long distance calls are all free and that phone service is available to you without additional charges. There is much to do on the North Shore of Kauai. When you stay at Hale Wailele during your Kauai vacation, you will find a notebook full of information and recommendations for things to do during your stay. We've worked hard to compile information for you based upon the times we have spent on Kauai during the last 20 years of summer vacations on the North Shore.

Hale Wailele-- The Waterfall House--is within walking distance of the world famous Queen Emma's Bath and three of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can see the famous peak known as Bali Hai from your upstairs lanai while you sit at the outdoor wet bar and sip a mai tai or while you watch the sunset from the hot tub on the back lanai. Take a walk or ride a bike through Princeville. Play golf on The Makai or, if you are brave, on The Prince Course. If you select this house for your next vacation, all of this and more is right outside your front door.
Golf:
Hale Wailele sits on the world famous Makai Golf Course-- on Oceans No. 2. The Makai is a wonderful 27 hole course that has some of the best views in world on almost every hole. You can play any combination of nines on any given day, including Oceans 9, Lakes 9 and Woods 9. Not to be outdone by the magnificent Makai Golf Course, The Prince Golf Course awaits those brave enough to try. The Prince is generally viewed as one of the most difficult but most spectacular golf courses in the Hawaiian Islands. It is challenging but for golfers, a trip to the North Shore is not complete without a round at the world famous Prince Golf Course. In addition to these North Shore courses, the Island of Kauai has many other wonderful courses in the event you want to travel to other parts of the Island. Some of our favorites include Puakea Golf Course andPoipu Bay Golf Course.
