Your cozy furnished holiday apartment has a great living room, dining room, bedroom, children's room, kitchen and bathroom, and is located on the garden floor of a detached country home near the woods. From the covered terrace with places to sit you have a wide view of the green scenery. Enjoy a garden with the charme of a mixture of natural vegetation and nicely placed flowers. For children there are games. An extensive information book gives you many tips for varied organization of your 'nicest days of the year'. All food can be bought at the place; good restaurants are neareby; car repair shop is available.

The municipality of Solla belongs to the attractive fresh air health resort of Thurmansbang ( 35 km north of Passau). The settlement is situated on a southern slope (750 - 800 m above sea level) and has a terrific view of the Southern Bavarian Forest and on clear days, the Alps. Charming, varied, wooded vacation area for true rejuvenation throughout the year.

Further Details: In the settlement there is a great playground for children. Five lakes, indoor and outdoor pool, spa nearby. The location is well situated for a lot of interesting excurses in all directions, so for example National Park (in it a game park with lynxes, wolves, bears), into the romantic valley of Ilz, to the 'Three-river-town' Passau, a ship excursion on the Danube, the museum village, a western town 'Pullmancity', the centre of glass production in Spiegelau, Riedlhütte or Bodenmais and so on .

Further informations about equipment: Kitchen with coffee-maker, toaster, boiler, egg-boiler, crib for nothing, terrace with garden chairs and table, deckchairs, parking space at the plot.

Super Wohnung mit (zu)viel Ruhe

An der Wohnung gibt es nichts großartig auszusetzen. Sauber, ordentlich und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist allerbestens, besonders Klasse war die Waschmaschine, Küche ist ebenfalls mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Betten sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber ok. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Ausblick von der Terasse ist fantastisch.
Was uns allerdings weniger gefallen hat ist, das von diesem "Feriendorf Solla" nichts mehr übrig ist außer einem Kinderspielpatz. Es gibt keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit oder Gaststätte im Ort. 10 Gehminuten entfernt ist der Gasthof "Geisselstein", den wir nur wärmstens empfehlen können. Aber das wars dann auch schon. Für alles weitere benötigt man ein Auto. Dazu kommt noch das selbst in der Hauptsaison, im Sommer, abends so gut wie nichts mehr geboten ist.
Fazit: Wer also auf Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit steht und seine Abende gerne auf der wunderschönen Terasse verbringt und kein Problem damit hat alles mit dem Auto zu machen wird hier mit Sicherheit einen tollen Urlaub verbringen.
Owner's Response: Die Betten haben vor kurzem neue Matratzen erhalten.
Unser Haus gehört nicht zu dem (Rest-)Feriendorf.
Das kleine Lebensmittelgeschäft am Ort hat aufgeben
müssen, weil die Feriengäste vorzugsweise die Discounter
in der Umgebung aufgesucht haben - wie daheim auch.
Der Landgasthof "Geisselstein" gehört zum Ort und liegt am Ortseingang; der Fußweg dorthin kann 10 Minuten
dauern.
