My 3-Bdrm/2 Bath townhome has beautiful and comfortable furnishing (see pictures) with 3 flat-screen TVs w/ cable & 3 DVD players, high-speed Internet, AC and 3 ceiling fans. answering phone, fully-equipped kitchen w/ all appliances, washer/dryer; linens, beach towels and chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkels and fins. There is a pac-n-play, highchair and gate for stairs. Turtle Bay Resort complex offers 5 miles of beaches, swimming pools, tennis courts, gated secure parking, and picnic areas for your use. Not What We Expected!

There were 6 in our party. We were very disappointed with our stay.
1. There was 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom; 1 roll of paper towel; 1 small soap; 1 garbage bag. We emailed the owner to see if there were additional supplies. She replied that she only "provide the paper products to get started but we don't provide paper products for the whole week. People just purchase that at the grocery store." Be prepared to spend time buying supplies at the grocery store.

2. There was a note on top of the A/C in the Master Bdrm that says not to turn it on because it was leaking and the water drips into the downstairs bedroom.

3. The light fixture outside the front door did not work. Several lamps in the unit had no light bulbs. The housekeeper just dropped the light bulbs off in the unilt and expected us to replace all the bulbs.

4. It was raining very hard when we got there and water was dripping into one of the twin beds in the loft. The owner told us that sometimes when it's very windy, the water might leak into the vents in the roof and drip down into the loft.

The unit was not kept up very well - 70's Style. From the description, one would never know!
Owner's Response: This is the first and only negative response I have ever received in over 3 years of renting my place to over a hundred guests. I was deluged with emails and phone calls from this guest the moment she arrived at my condo. I tried in vain to address all of her complaints.
1. She wanted more paper towels and toilet paper and although we normally leave a starter amount of supplies for guests, we don't furnish everything for the entire week for 6 guests. But I had the housekeeper drive from Haleiwa to bring her extra supplies.
2. She said the light wasn't working on the outside but it was just a burned-out lightbulb so I had the housekeeper buy more lightbulbs and deliver them to her. She wasn't there so the housekeeper left them at the door. I then received a call from her complaining because she didn't want to change the lightbulb herself so I offered to send a handyman out to change it for her.
3. The sign on the AC asks that guests not let it run 24/7 because condensation can build up and one time it did leak. I explained this to her and told her the AC works perfectly and she is welcome to turn it on anytime she wants.
4. The condo is on an island which is sometimes subject to a torrential downpour combined with strong tradewinds. This happened one night during their stay and water blew into the vent in the attic. This happened one other time and the manager came the next morning with the roofer and checked the roof and explained that this is what happened.
You can look at the photos on my listing site and see that it is furnished beautifully and all of my guests have loved the decor and said my place has everything they could possibly need while staying there.
This guest wanted me to refund her entire payment - after she had been there a week! I offered to refund 3 days payment and her security deposit if she wanted to leave - which I did. I had never had a guest dissatisfied and I wanted her to be happy. Obviously, this was an impossible goal with this person. I hope the people traveling with her were able to enjoy the island and the spirit of aloha.

Family Fun Vacation

If you enjoy snorkling, sea turtles, beaches without the crowds, golf, beautiful sunsets, restaurants and more in a short walking distance from a vacation condo. You will have a very pleasant stay!
My family and I found the condo quite comfortable. Condo was clean, quite and the location was perfect. If fact,a very good restaurant " Lei Lei's" was right across the first tee, a short walk from the condo's lania.
Susan did an excellent job to make this vacation condo rental happen with short notice.
I have stayed on Oahu in Waikiki over two dozen times for business. The North Shore Turtle Bay is the place to be!
My family and I are looking forward to our next stay in this condo.

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Your beautiful condo allowed
me, my husband, my mom, and two sisters to enjoy beautiful North Shore in
extreme comfort. The condo was clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished with
anything you could possibly need. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this
property!!!
