Beautiful large gambrel cabin with spectacular views. 4bedrooms, plus loft, three baths and sleeps 8. The beds are: 1 king, 2 queen, 2 twins, and one queen futon. The cabin contains TV/VCR, cable, recently upgraded kitchen with microwave and oven. Washer/dryer, floor furnace and a circular free standing fire place. A level driveway provides easy and safe access to the outdoors. Summer Activities: A variety of boating activities including water skiing and house boating can be enjoyed on nearby New Melones Lake. Marvelous walking/hiking trails in the proximity of Bear Valley and beautiful Lake Alpine-where fishing and canoeing are an option for a fun summer day. As members of the Big Trees Recreation Center, adults and children can enjoy a variety of activities: swimming, tennis, basketball, outdoor movies and picnic opportunities. Winter Activities: Bear Valley provides a resort with 25 miles of runs for everyone, beginner and expert.

Complete and upgraded kitchen, washer, dryer, TV/VCR, cable. An outside deck provides private al fresco dining among the giant pine, redwood and sequoias with a clear 18 mile view of pure beauty. Perfect location for evening constellation viewing. Activities: Year Round Scenery: Along the highway that climbs from the Sierra Foothills are enough attractions to fill an idyllic vacation. Angels Camp and Murphys, where the 49's scratched and howled; Calaveras Big Trees State Park, with its cathedral groves of giant sequoias nearby along lake shores and river banks. Bear Valley is famous for its annual music festival and hundreds of miles of back country hiking trails. Several excellent wineries, and three spectacular limestone caves; Moaning Cavern, Mercer Cavern and California Cavern.

The Giant Sequoias are on parade at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, just above Arnold. Area / Location: Big Trees Village / Dorrington, CA 2228 Dardanelle Vista. This place was great. The owners have worked very hard to make the house a great holiday home with everything you need at hand. Very comfortable and cosy - even in summer. Immaculately clean and well-maintained. Lots of space for Grandma and a fabulous view. Handy location for Alpine Lake, interesting caves and local town Arnold with White Pines Lake for fishing and fun restaurants like Bristols (great breakfast!).
