Our single story villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is just one block north of popular Highway 192 in St. Cloud, which takes you right to the entrance of Disney World, or you can take the Osceola Parkway and be there within 30 minutes from the time you leave the villa. From Osceola Parkway, Universal Studios and the other theme parks are quickly accessible. The location of the villa is what makes people want to return again and again. Overlooking Lake Runnymede, the villa has the advantage of a quiet country area yet is close to all services. The Florida room leads out to a patio giving access to garden, lake and the 30x15 solar-heated swimming pool. The wooden jetty (dock) is nice for fishing, sunbathing and watching the wild life. Bird watching is especially good. A gas barbecue grill is located on the patio. Bicycles, a canoe and paddle boat are provided for your time of enjoying the local scenery.

The villa offers a full kitchen with all full size appliances and a microwave, 1 color TV, a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, and all the housewares you may need. There is central air and heating, 2 queen size beds, one twin bed and a twin size rollaway bed. The manager of the villa is right across the street to help you take care of any problems during your stay. The spacious double-car garage has remote door opening. Within 10 minutes from the villa, on Highway 192, is a Wal-Mart Supercenter, restaurants, supermarkets, stores, a twin movie theater, garages and anything else that you might need. A flea market is only 15 minutes from the villa on 192. Within 30 minutes you can be at the Mall at Millenia or The Florida Mall in Orlando by way of the Turnpike. Within 5 minutes from the villa are tennis courts and a handball court which you may use at no charge. Within 15 minutes there are two PGA rated golf courses.

Orlando International Airport is only 30 minutes from the villa. About an hour's drive, either east or west, you can reach Florida's beaches, or you can go to the NASA Kennedy Space Center for tours. You can actually drive on Daytona Beach, the most famous beach in the world. The Silver Spurs Arena, located in Kissimmee, hosts two major rodeos a year. The Houston Astros do their Spring Training within 20 minutes of the villa. The Orlando Convention Center and the Gaylord Palms, with its convention center, beautiful grounds, bars and restaurants, are both about 45 minutes from the villa. Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho), considered one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country, is accessible by canoe within a matter of a few minutes. For your daily exercise, there is a walkway on Lake Toho.

When you need a rest, it's nice to discover that the old Florida is still there, with many natural places of interest to visit, canals to canoe down, lakes to fish and wildlife to see; all under the Florida sun. We look forward to having you come and stay in 'Terrebethia'; that's the name our children gave to the area where the villa is located.

Clean, peaceful, quiet. At the end of the street set on a canal. The loudest noise is the birds. Beautiful decks and great swimming pool. Very relaxing atmosphere, pool for the Mrs., fishing for the Mr. is just 50' out the back door. Air conditioning for those who soak up too much sun. I don't think there is anything you could ask for that is not there. Bring your own clothes and toothbrush and you are set for a great vacation.

There is a tree house next door that you are welcome to use. It's great for morning coffee, lunch and picture taking at any time. The wildlife is fascinating. Enjoy a paddleboat or canoe ride, at no extra cost. Come see us, you'll be glad you did.

Tranquil winter escape to the sun

I have stayed at this rental property six times. The owners Marvin and Bertha make you feel like one of the family. Marvin helps out with fishing lines and tips. The property is lovely and clean with everything you could need, whether you are eating in or out. The location is in a lovely position. The main road to Disney is only a few minutes away, with plenty of shops and eating places to choose from, yet you feel like you are miles from anywhere. I would recommend this property to friends/family. I took my daughter and son-in-law this year and they would love to go back with their friends. If you need to know anything about the surrounding area or getting to someplace Marvin and Bertha are only too glad to help. Its very close to Orlando International airport which is great after a 9hour flight. I would definately go back again, in fact I have been back a week and i'm looking into going again next year.
Owner's Response: We look forward to having you come and stay at "Terrebethia". How wonderful to walk along the canal and see all kinds of birds and small animals. It's great fun to use the paddle boat or canoe in the canal leading to Lake Runnymede. It's so very quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes away from shopping and restautants. We'll even help you with catching some bait to do some fishing; and we'll even loan you the fishing poles.

Come enjoy Florida here in St. Cloud and you'll want to return again and again!

Home Away From Home

This is a wonderful home with all things to make it a home away from home. It is clean and has a well stocked kitchen so you can cook right there. It is close to restaurants if you don't want to spend any time in the kitchen. It is a warm and cozy place to stay. It is close to shopping and an easy ride to the parks without the crowds. The pool is great for the kids. The owner make you feel like one of the family. They offer fishing poles and tips on fishing. We go back to this house whenever we are in Florida.
