Casinos

There are numerous Casinos nearby. We went to Sugar Bay the other night and had a great time in their casino! Sugar Bay is only about 10 minutes away. It has Free drinks while you gamble!They also have several graet restaurants.

Hiking

St. John has numerous hiking trails in the National Forest. There are lots of sugar mill ruins and isolated white sand beaches on St. John. Two thirds of the island is US National Park and beautiful!It is a must see!

Horse back riding

You can rent horses on St. John at Carolina Corral and ride the trails through the National Park.

Fishing

The Blue Marlin fishing is world class in July and August. Last years Marlin tournament caught and released 746 Blue Marlin in one week! There is also great Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi and King Fish action at different times of the year. The best fishing is off the north drop off St. Thomas. We normally troll along the drop which is one off the deepest areas of the Atlantic Ocean. I hooked a Big Blue last year that almost pulled me out of the boat! He ripped of 1800 feet of 80 pound test line before he broke off. What a ride!!

The Vigin Islands

If you go to the Virgin Islands you will not go to any other islands in the Caribbean ever again! These are the most beautiful islands anywhere in the world. They are green and numerous. There are more then 50 islands in the BVI alone! There are white sand beaches everywhere! I love driving my Scarab through the islands and stopping at Foxy's, Tabbo, Soggy Dollar and the Willy T! Many of the restaurants you swim into from your boat. If we feel like a longer day we go to the Bath's on Virgin Gorda. It is a must visit stop. Huge boulders on the beach with grottoes under them that you can explore for hours. Then on to Cooper, Cinnimon, Salt and the wreck of the Rhone. They shot much of the movie THE DEEP on this wreck. If you scuba dive you will love the wreck diving in the Virgin Islands. There are wrecks every where! St. Thomas Harbor was the major shipping port in the Caribbean for over 350 years so the wreaks are numerous!
