Photos and Description of this Swabian Jura holiday house

The house is 150 years old with a beautiful garden and a covered, sunny terrace. We have restored it lovingly and furnished it cozily, partly with old country furniture. Owing to its large size (130 m2 with 2 bathrooms), both large families and small groups will feel at home here. Hiking and cycling paths in the protected landscape of Lautertal begin 300 m behind the house. Children are welcome here. The inspectors of the tourism association have also liked our house. Notes: We have renovated! The foyer is now lavishly designed. In the bedroom in the ground floor, we have made the 150-year old oak beams in the ceiling visible. A wonderful, modern wood pellet stove now burns in the living room: You can cosily enjoy the open fire and are relieved from the handling of the oven owing to its modern technology. Now the beds consist of oiled solid wood. We have purchased a freezer. An espresso machine, for enriching your breakfast, also stands in the kitchen now. We have a cot and a crib in the house. Pets are welcome; we have had only good experiences with dog owners till now. There is a small sauna with Jacuzzi and plunge pool in the neighbourhood. You can wonderfully relax yourself here after the hikes; you can also receive massages upon request.

Characteristics: Rustic hamlet in an intact alpine landscape right by the nature preserve, ideal for hiking, cycling, riding, relaxing.

Gliding: You find an airfield for gliding in Münsingen-Dottingen, 8 km away.

Shopping at a farm: ... is uncomplicatedly possible. You can buy eggs and milk here, the Loretto farm approx. 15 km away, spoils you with delicious goat cheese, home baked cakes and bread. You can enjoy all of this in the garden of the Loretto farm with a dreamlike view, where the children can romp about in the small playground..

Ski: You find several more cross-country ski tracks at a distance of 6-8 km around Sternberg and St. Johann. There is a lift with flood light in Münsingen-Dottingen. At best, we like picnics with cross-country skis in the untouched landscape of the Swabian Alb.

Golf: The gulf club Reutlingen Sonnenbühl e. V. in Sonnenbühl-Undingen is only half an hour's drive away. Guests who are a member of a golf club also get access on this 18 hole golf course fit for a tournament. There are of course rental clubs, golf carts, electric Car and Birdie Car (even a children's playground), the season lasts from April until November.

Other Activities: Canoeing in Bichishausen, cross-country and Alpine skiing

A Nice,Quiet Hideaway

We (2 adults and two children) stayed at this property in the middle of Oktober 2008 and were very pleasantly surprised. The house is very clean and charmingly decorated. The pellet ovens
gave a lovely heat and a cheery glow to our evenings in the
living room. As it is our first experience in a holiday home , it was a nice change to a hotel room situation. I would
highly recommend this house and the picturesque surroundings
for a relaxing break. We visited Legoland, which is not too
far from Dapfen; Marbach; a horse lovers dream, and the town has an interesting coffee house, the Lagerhaus where the cakes were very tasty. Thumbs up for Dapfen and the little house with the blue shutters! Highly recommended!!

wir waren mit 6 erwachsenen und 1 hund übers wochenende im häusle. es ist alles da was man braucht. sogar ein getränke vorrat, wenn mal was ausgeht.
die 2 öfen spenden eine tolle wärme, und es ist einfach nur gemütlich dort. waren schön öfters dort und würden jeder zeit wieder hin gehen. sehr netter kontakt zu den besitzern und zur hausverwalterin, die gerne hilft, wenn was ist. da diese im nachbarhaus wohnt.
schöne gegend auch zum wandern.
