Ampelohori (English: vineyard) is quietly located on a notable hill on the southern end of the Pissouri Valley which is known for its vineyards. The house offers a grandiose view of the valley, the foothills of the Troodos Mountains and the sea. The village center with its sandy and gravel beaches is approximately 700 m away. The small, richly planted complex has a pool with child's pool, lawn and play area as well as an excellent restaurant with a splendid panoramic view from the terrace. All apartments have high-quality furnishings and roomy, furnished balconies or terraces.

The studio is situated at a tranquil 2-storey-building opposite the reception and swimming pool. Lawn, trees and hedges separate this building from the pool area although only a few meters away from pool and garden. The Studio offers magnificent views to the all year green Pissouri Valley and to the Troodos Mountains. The Studio is well-furnished and has a living/sleeping area either with double bed or 2 single beds (a bed couch offers a roost for a 3rd person). The kitchenette is fully equipped and offers everything, which is needed for a self-catering holiday. A separate bathroom with shower and lavatory completes the Studio. Air conditioning (warm and cold) and effective and noiselessly working ceiling fans together with the arcade style construction of the house offer pleasant temperatures even in summer. Cot available on request for free.

Directly above Ampelohori Apartments you can walk for hours in beautiful nature with stunning views to the sea below you. You'll find unspoilt small beaches and after 45 minutes you'll reach the most beautiful: Melanda Beach, a beautiful sandy beach with a simple Fishtavern directly above the sea. The beach at Pissouri Bay has inviting taverns (most of them offer fresh fish and seafood) and is not over-filled, even in summer.

War einfach nur schön in Pissouri Bay!
Ein netter Ort, nicht überlaufen, schöner Strand zum Baden, herrliche Umgebung (unser Tipp: kleine Wanderung an der Küste nach MELANDA BEACH; einfach nur toll) und ein prima Studio bei den Ampelohori Apartments zu einem klasse Preis!
Das Studio hat uns (2 Personen) völlig ausgereicht; wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten: gute Matratzen, eine kleine, gut ausgestatte Küchenecke, ein zwar kleines, aber ausreichendes Bad und ein Balkon mit wunderbarem Blick ins Pissouri Tal und manchmal sogar bis zum Mount Olympos, dem höchsten Berg Zyperns.
Die kleine Apartment-Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, der Swimming-Pool zur morgendlichen und abendlichen Erfrischung ideal und die Terrasse des zur Anlage gehörenden Ampeli-Restaurants ist urgemütlich. Nicht zu vergessen Andreas und Demetris, die beiden Chefs, die nicht nur äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit waren sondern auch immer zu einem kleinen Schwätzchen aufgelegt.
Wir sind jedenfalls rundum zufrieden und kommen garantiert wieder!

Einfach? Gut!

Wir haben noch nie eine Bewertung geschrieben, aber der Kritik an der Einrichtung der Studios wollen wir widersprechen. 2 Personen bezahlen für das Studio weniger als in einer Jugendherberge. Die Einrichtung ist tatsächlich recht einfach aber völlig ausreichend. Gute Betten, genug Schrankraum, eine kleine Küchenzeile mit guter Ausstattung, ein kleines aber komplettes Badezimmer und eine große Terrasse, Klimaanlage inklusive (kostet oft ordentlichen Aufpreis), Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Endreinigung, was will man für den Preis noch mehr?. Uns war vorher klar, dass wir keinen Luxus erwarten können und wir waren angenehm überrascht von unserem Studio. Absolut sauber, alles funktionierte einwandfrei und Andreas und Demetris, die Chefs der kleinen Anlage, waren einfach nur umwerfend nett und hilfsbereit. Welch ein Unterschied zu unserer letzten Zypern-Reise vor 10 Jahren in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel in Paphos!! Wer keine übertriebenen Erwartungen an die Ferienwohnung hat und individuelles Reisen bevorzugt, ist bei den Ampelohori Apartments genau richtig.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach auch die Einteilung unzweckmäßig. Poollandschaft und Restauranr sind in Ordnung und auch sauber. Ohne PKW geht nichts, aber dies wußten wir schon vorher.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden nur teilweise erfüllt.
Das Bad ist eigentlich nur ein WC in einem sehr engen Raum in dem man sich kaum drehen kann. Wir haben für diesen Preis keinen Luxus erwartet, aber doch schon Mittelklasse. Die Küchenausstattung war äußerst spartanisch (1 großer Topf + 1 kleine Pfanne). Die Türen sind verzogen und keinesweg einbruchsicher. Der Toilettenspülkasten konnte nur alle 15 min betätigt werden ansonsten musste der gute alte Wassereimer zum Nachspülen herhalten. Der Pool war bei unserer Abreise immer noch nicht gefüllt, obwohl in der Beschreibung ab 15.3. stand. Betreuung vor Ort = 0. Taverne im Objekt nicht empfehlenswert, auch genauso teuer wie im Ort
Ansonsten ist Zypern sehr schön

Wir haben an unserem Urlaub bei den Ampelohori Apartments gar nichts zu bemängeln. Unser Studio hat uns prima gefallen, die ruhige Lage zurückgesetzt vom Pool kam unserem Bedürfnis nach Ausschlafen sehr entgegen; Frühstück auf der Studio- Terrasse mit Blick ins Pissouri Tal war immer traumhaft; die Einrichtung war absolut okay, alles funktionierte einwandfrei und die Gastgeber waren umwerfend nett und gaben uns viele Tipps abseits der ausgetretenen Touristenpfade.
Wir waren zum ersten Mal bei Ampelohori aber bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Auch Freunde, die auf unsere Empfehlung hin dort waren, fanden es toll. Auch der Mietwagen war bestens. Problemlose Abwicklung am Flughafen Larnaca (dauerte noch nicht einmal 5 Minuten) und der Preis war inklusive Steuer, Vollkasko, 2. Fahrer und Kindersitz absolut in Ordnung.
