This three level cottage has plenty of room and is fully equipped for a rustic, peaceful, fun, getaway. Tucked away midst the trees is a four bedroom, two bath, lake front, air conditioned cottage on a semi-private, deep water cove (23 feet at dock), between lake marker R-26 & R27 (near Bridgewater Plaza). First Floor: Kitchen (Equipped with dishes, pots/pans for basic cooking). Living Room/Dining Room, Full Bath (tub with shower), Front Bedroom: 2 twin beds, Back bedroom: Pyramid Bunk, twin on top, full on bottom. Hardwood Floors, Double sliding glass doors to deck overlooking the lake; Central air-conditioning. Second Floor: Master Bedroom: King Size Bed, private balcony overlooking lake. Front Bedroom: Queen Size Bed. Full Bathroom: Shower (no tub). Carpeted Floors. Basement: Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, Washer/Dryer, Sliding Glass door with path leading to lake

The second floor has carpeted floors and features a master bedroom with king size bed, cable TV, and a private deck overlooking the peaceful lake. The second bedroom features a full size bed and cable TV/VCR combo and the second floor also has one full size bath with walk-in shower. The lower level is all fun and games and features a pool table, air hockey table, bar with stools, cable TV, kid's game corner, puzzles, books, and board games. Sliding glass doors lead out to the path to the lake. There is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The gently sloped path leads to the water's edge featuring two stationary docks and one large floating dock. Deep water off a no-wake cove makes for great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is also available for you to enjoy as you venture around the cove. We are close to Bridge water Plaza where there are numerous stores, restaurants, and night time entertainment.

There you will also find several places to rent boats, personal watercraft, and tubes.

Excellent and Relaxing

We had excellent communication with the owner. They provided lots of information about the surrounding area and the owner was very accommodating for our pets.

Wonderful entertaining amenities like table games such as pool table, ping pong, fooseball and air hockey would keep a large group of adults and teens and little ones busy.

Nice view of the cove. The layout was great. The house was spacious and with easy access for pets and small children. Wonderful location but just a little too close to one neighbor. House is showing its age, but everything worked. House has easy access to the marina for boat rental, only 15 minutes by water. Close to grocery stores and a few restaurants. And having a private dock was perfect.

We couldn’t get the internet connection to work. We contacted the owner and the recommendation by the owner did not work. It would have been nice to have.

We would recommend this property to friends and we would stay there again.
Owner's Response: Jan and her family were very nice guests. We enjoyed having them. We were so sorry that the wireless internet did not work while they visited for the week-end. The repairman found that we had an internet signal but had lost our wireless address. I did not know to tell Jan and her family that they could plug the blue ethernet cord, attached to the router, directly into their computer and they would have had internet. The repairman restored the wireless address and everything appears to be working just fine. I am grateful that Jan let me know about the problem.

Great home, very friendly and accomodating owner. Lakefront location and dock were fantastic, and loved that the house was very close to restaurants, shops, etc. We would definitely recommend to friends and stay again.

Great time at Rustic Cottage

Our family had a great time. The house was roomy and spacious and we used all of the indoor table games - pool, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. The little one really enjoyed the air hockey. The weather was almost perfect the whole weekend and we were able to make good use of the 17' fishing boat we rented from Parrot Cove. The house location was great, we had direct water access, plenty of room to stretch, and lots of good activities for the family to enjoy. What more could you want?

Great Graduation Weekend

My family and I along with some close friends stayed two nights here as we visited the area for my college graduation (at 46!). The cabin was just as we had hoped and was clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. The trees created natural shade yet allowed for great views of the water from the deck. The large dock provided a great place for fishing as those who enjoy such had a great time. The downstairs rec room was used by the teens who enjoyed their time playing pool. We would certainly consider staying here again should the opportunity present itself in the future.

We enjoyed our time at the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and traveled the lake. We fished and visited with family. We had a lot of fun. We hope the next people that come to this cottage enjoy themselves as much as we did.
