Location:
Due to its picturesque and convenient location, the Grand Arbor truly is an ideal place for vacations, family reunions, wedding receptions and retreats.
Explore all three levels of this home. The ground level offers a walk out basement with a game room that's especially a big hit with the kids to play or just hang out in. A full size regulation pool table was recently added! This is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike.
On the main level there is a master bedroom with king bed, full bath with tub, large fully equipped open kitchen with built-in appliances, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, forest green cabinetry, a large storage pantry, and a built in bookshelf. The hallmark of the kitchen is the island which serves as a gathering place for all guests and provides comfortable seating for five to eat a casual meal.
There is also a large dining table with additional seating. Outdoor patio furniture offers relaxation on the wrap around deck.
The lodge interior and exterior:
Just off the dining room is the great room with a large stone fireplace and plenty of gathering space for everybody. It really is a great room with spectacular views of the surrounding forest and creek.
A 360 degree wrap-around deck and screened-in porch beckon you to enjoy the outdoors any time of year.
The upper level features two bedrooms overlooking trees and meadows. Each bedroom offers bunk beds and a full size bed. The loft on this level overlooking the great room also offers additional sleep and relaxation space. A linen closet and full bathroom are conveniently situated between the bedrooms.
The surrounding area:
Just minutes from the Grand Arbor, there are a variety of exciting things to see and do. Horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, hiking, golfing and shopping in the nearby historical town of Metamora are just a few of the activities that our guests enjoy when staying at The Grand Arbor.
You can make your stay as busy or as laid back as you wish. Each day of your vacation can be filled with hours of fun activities perfect for the entire family.
Catch a fish or enjoy a swim near the sandy beaches of Brookville lake. Rent a canoe and go down the beautiful Whitewater River. Go horseback riding and explore the beautiful trails at the Salt Creek Ranch. One of our favorite pastimes is to take a step back in time over 150 years and stroll around the historical canal town of Metamora for dining and shopping.
