There's a one-car garage, and the driveway accommodates two more vehicles. Lakeside has a lovely cantilevered deck and an additional dock that gives fishermen added privacy. The home is situated mid-lake so you have a panoramic view. You can enjoy the surroundings by simply walking around the lake or take advantage of the facilities at nearby Lackawanna State Park. There are several golf courses nearby. The closest is Lakeland. It's located on Route 107; nine holes are very reasonable. There is a rowboat available. The lake area and surrounding countryside are also excellent places for biking. In winter, skiers can use the above-mentioned resorts as well as the Poconos. The area also contains many quaint antique shops; some right in Fleetville. The towns of Clarks Summit and Tunkhannock, both off Route 6, provide a rural flavor.
The Summit has many little shops; further up on the Route, Tunkhannock is becoming more of an arts community, and affords a wonderful view of the Endless Mountains. The Viewmont Mall, located approximately 20 minutes away in Dickson City, has shops and well as many restaurants, movies and food stores. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay in this neck of the woods.
