This luxury home was finished in October, 2005. It includes two master suites, 1 on each level. It has a total of 4 bedrooms & 2 additional 'sleeping areas' equipped with beds. It has 4 full bathrooms including a Jacuzzi® tub in the master suite. A spectacular media room, w/ theater seating, to enjoy the 119' HD projection & BOSE surround sound, plus a 42-in HD TV upstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped w/custom cabinets & granite. The home has two over sized decks with great views of Smith Mountain Lake. The lower deck is protected from precipitation so it can be used anytime. A Weber grill is located on the upper deck with plenty of seating. A fire pit, canoe & air hockey table are provided for your use! The home is on a quiet cove but close to the main channel and to Hales Ford Bridge. Large beach across the cove from the house. A huge 1500 sq. ft. boat house & dock with Tiki bar! A beautiful home away from home - Great memories are made here! A MUST!

The house is furnished very nicely with 2 leather couches in the living room, which also has a gas fireplace. There is a 42-inch high definition TV upstairs with PlayStation 2, VCR and DVD players and satellite reception. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably. The home includes an oversized two car garage. A media room with leather-recliner stadium seating on the downstairs level to enjopy the 119-inch high definition projection TV with BOSE surround sound and DVD player. This is a beautiful home built to accommodate an extended family vacation. A 1500 sq ft boat house & dock with tiki bar, 16 foot canoe, fire pit & commercial-grade air hockey table are available for the vacationers!! 2 King Master suites, 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 daybed trundle and a 'kids' room with 2 double futon bunk beds (doubles on bottom and twins on top) and 4 baths!! Lots of privacy and all of the comforts of home -- and more!! We offer discounts to returning vacationers!! Not just a rental-it's a home!

Our two families had a very enjoyable stay from 8/15 - 22/2009. We felt at home in this comfortable and spacious home. Everything is clean and well alid out with great views on a quiet and pretty cove. We really loved sitting at the new dock with easy access to the water and your boats. Overall an excellent setting for your vacation on SML.

Perfect in Every Way!

The pictures do not do The Waterford Retreat justice. The house is gorgeous and roomy. The media room is fantastic. The location is perfect... a quiet cove where the kids can swim off of the dock with no worries of boats racing through. Yet, just outside the cove, you can ski and tube and do whatever you want. Just 5 minutes away (by boat) to the marina and shops. We had 10 adults, 3 children and 2 babies and never felt crowded. We all agreed that this was the most amazing and relaxing vacation ever and the Waterford Retreat made it possible. We would HIGHLY recommend this property.

Our family arrived July 4th and enjoyed every moment in this lovely
home. The layout is perfect for any and all ages. Plenty of bedrooms,baths, space for everyone. The dock was our favorite hang-
out-the fish were small but plentiful-the canoe great fun-and the most
peaceful scenery around. The location was ideal low boat activity and
noise besides being convenient to everything. We will be back!

You get more than what you see and everything you hoped for!!! Owners are wonderfully warm and helpful! Everything is new and clean -- only stress that week was about keeping it that way with 5 kids in tow! Very kid-friendly in every way. Tooled over to the restaurant across the cove for dinner one night and found some civil war history during our walks along the street. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Wonderful place for our vacation

We visited Waterford Retreat this past week and had an absolutely terrific time! The house is very well appointed, comfortable, beautiful, and in a very peaceful cove. Would recommend it to a large family or more than one family. It was clean, the air hockey table was fun, the theater was terrific! Beds were very comfortable. We hope to come back!
