This small, cozy, rustic Portuguese house is located in the woods. It offers visitors a pool with a sunny lawn, a terrace under olive trees, an open fireplace, since February 2002 a new tiled stove and an outbuilding. The Atlantic is 12 to 15 minutes by car and Lima is 5 minutes. Both the main house and the outbuilding have bedrooms.

Portugiesisches Ferienhaus mit Pool

Frühstücken unterm Olivenbaum, kurze Fahrt zur vielfältigen Atlantikküste, unzählige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten ins Landesinnere und nach Porto - und abends nach einer langen Tour noch ein paar Runden im großen Pool und etwas Entspannung auf der Liegewiese. Die Kinder haben das Nebengebäude in Beschlag genommen - und wir Eltern konnten ungestört die schönen Abende auf einer der 2 Terrassen verbringen.

Das Klima war selbst im Sommer dank des angenehmen Windes vom Meer her sehr angenehm. Und wenn es doch mal zu windig war, lud ja der geschützt Pool zum Baden ein. Leider mussten wir nach 21/2 Wochen diese schöne Oase wieder verlassen - und selbst die Kinder schwärmen heute noch davon.

Das Ferienhaus entsprach der Beschreibung im Internet, verfügt über eine gute und praktische Ausstattung - und der freundliche Vermieter war jederzeit zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für die entspannte Zeit an den Vermieter.

Das Ferienhaus - und auch die Gegend - ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

Unser Urlaub war im Juni 2009. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, können das Haus gerne weiterempfehlen.
Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die beste Betreuung, die man sich von einem Vermieter vorstellen kann!
Die Gegend ist sehr schön und sehenswert und hat uns für ein paar Regentage entschädigt.

Idyllisch gelegenes Haus in Nordportugal

Das Haus ist idyllisch gelegen und gut ausgestattet.
Nach den vielen Ausflügen ( Viana do Castello, Porto, Brago, Ponte Lima und ein schönen Fahrt auf dem Douro) waren wir immer froh in die
"Oase" zurückzukehren, uns am Swimmingpool auszuruhen oder es uns unter den Olivenbäumen bequem zu machen.
Das Meer war auch im August ziemlich frisch, aber der Pool wurde fast
jeden Tag genutzt. Uns hat das Klima gut gefallen, es war nie zu heiß und es ging immer ein Wind.
In allen Orten, die wir besuchten konnte man wunderbar essen vor allem die Meeresfrüchte und Fische waren ausgezeichnet.
Vielen Dank an den Vermieter für die gute Betreuung!

... und dann noch in den Pool!

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager) haben zwei wunderbare Ferienwochen in der "Casa Azul" hinter uns. Das Haus entsprach exakt der Beschreibung im Inserat bzw. den Schilderungen des Vermieters, der uns via E-Mail bestens auf alles vorbereitet hat. In der "Casa Azul" war alles sehr gepflegt und die Einrichtungen in Küche und Wohnzimmer funktionierten tadellos. Bei unserem Eintreffen war der Vermieter noch im Haus, um uns in die Geheimnisse des Swimming-Pool-Unterhalts einzuweihen. Allen, die keine Erfahrung damit haben (so wie wir) sei aber gesagt: das ist keine grosse Sache, ein paar Minuten Aufwand alle 2-3 Tage.

Überhaupt: der Pool! Der war natürlich die "Krönung" des ganzen Angebots. Wir haben fast täglich Ausflüge in die Umgebung unternommen (in schöne Städte wie Porto, Braga oder Guimaraes, an der Super-Strand von Afife, in den Geres-Nationalpark etc.), und immer freuten wir uns auf der Rückfahrt: "Und jetzt noch ein Sprung in den in Pool!" Stets ein erfrischender Abschluss eines schönen Tages, den wir öfters mit einem Restaurantbesuch in nahen Viana ausklingen liessen (grosse Auswahl; nur ein Tipp: Cabrito im Restaurante Atrio).

Fazit: unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Jederzeit wieder!

Kleine Idylle im Norden von Portugal!
Frühstück unter Olivenbäumen, Abkühlung im Pool und ein Gefühl von Heimat. Das kann man schon nach 3 Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus erleben. Natürlich, unkompliziert eingerichtet und mit sehr bequemen Matratzen ausgestattet. Der Vermieter Hans ist jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar und löst Probleme auch über weite Entfernungen. Ist er gerade in der Nähe erfüllt er auch mal eben Wünsche, wie Friteuse oder Mikrowelle. Auch als Pool-Doktor wird er aktiv, wenn man wie wir noch nie einen Pool gepflegt hat. Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Auch 3 Wochen Ferien gehen irgendwann zu Ende und man muss sich verabschieden...
... aber wir sehen uns bestimmt wieder! Und bis dahin erinnern wir uns an ein Zitat von Herbert Grönemeyer:

"Heimat ist kein Ort, Heimat ist ein Gefühl!“
