Enjoy Key West like a local : Staying at Royal Street Gardens is a memorable experience because you will enjoy very comfortable surroundings on our tropical island in a restored historic home much like the residents enjoy. Far from the condos, parking lots and tourist traps, this is a true garden get-away where you are encouraged to simply enjoy life to the fullest. There are two bicycles on the property that you are welcome to use to get around the island. You don't really need a car. This is a 4 mile by 6 mile island. The beach is a short jog away and there are tennis courts there and a lovely restaurant. Around the corner is the best Cuban restaurant in town, rivaling food we enjoyed in Havana. And down a few blocks is Duval Street, the center of action--where you can find shops, restaurants, bars, and more.....
