Amazing View and Lots to Do!:
If you want luxury and at the same time being close to the action then Villa Vista is the place. You are 3 blocks from the beach, only a few blocks from the Casinos, museums, live theater and at the same time only a couple miles from Old San Juan. Villa Vista looks out over the Lagoon and across to Condado Plaza. During the day you enjoy the billowy white clouds from your huge full wall of windows... and at night you can see the lights reflecting on the lagoon and the stars---Beautiful!
There is so much to see and do in Puerto Rico that the unaware visitor might be overwhelmed and end up missing some of the best sights the island has to offer. To help you prioritize, here are my votes for the top 5 attractions on the island. Included are an ancient fortress; a tropical rainforest; a bioluminescent bay; a natural underground cave system; and a tiny islet with breathtaking beaches.El Yunque, or 'The Anvil,' is home to the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System.
Shopping, Wonderful Beaches and Great Food!:
Just over the bridge from Old San Juan and Puerta de Tierra, Condado is a fashionable place to call home. Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Ferragamo are among the names you'll see on the storefronts here. Sophisticated bistros and restaurants draw lively crowds at night. And the beach is always popular. Interestingly, Condado's hotels don't follow the high-end trend; you can find great deals that put you in the heart of San Juan's ritziest neighborhood.
You have a few choices on which beach to hit in San Juan. There is the El Escambrón public beach nearby one of the cleanest and nicest beaches in all of Puerto Rico. And because the beach is right in front of you. You can't go wrong with El Escambron Beach, but some people also like the Ocean Park Beach for its laid back ambiance. Nearby, Punta Las Marías Beach is a haven for surfers.
The Restaurants in Old San Juan are Excellent. :

* Aguaviva.
* Panza - Top-class innovative cuisine in a polished, elegant setting.
* El Picoteo - For those who love traditional Spanish tapas.
* 311 - Classic French cuisine in a beautiful restaurant on Fortaleza Street.
* La Fonda del Jibarito - For hearty, rib-sticking Puerto Rican cooking.
* Fratelli - A great spot for classic Italian fare and the late-night bar & lounge scene.
