Osprey of delight

My wife and I had were delighted to spend five nights in the Osprey. We were greeted immediately by the lovely hostess, Leslie. We unloaded the car and were just in time for a spectacular sunset viewed from the spacious patio that is only feet from the beach. Leslie brought us a glass of wine after we had mentioned to her that we failed to pick up some along the way.
We stayed in all three sections of the house that Leslie rents, each section offering its own pleasures and specialities. The sections are furnished with all one needs. One section was equipted with a lime squeezer and a shaker, so we were never had to go farther than our kitchen for margaritas, which go very well with the happy hour of sunset, i might add. Leslie also provides a surf board and boogie boards for those inclined to do more than watch the water and the whales splashing and spouting in the near distance.
It is a bit of a challenge to find the Osprey from Pescadero but Leslie gives imaculate directions. A word of caution. When they say that you should not drive the Baja at night belive them! We have been going to the Baja for six years now and Todo Santos has been our primary focus. I have driven truck for a living. One of the worst drives I have ever taken was from Cabo to Todo Santos at night. I suspect the Osprey would also be a bit more challenging to find for the first time at night. The short distance from the Osprey to todos santos is fine for night time driving, however.
The Osprey is kept very clean and the decor and detail of the place, though not five star, is very nice. It is also very quiet.Four young men stayed in the unit next to us two of our nights and we didn't hear them after we went to bed and barely knew they occupied the place. One of the units has a beautiful view from the bedroom and there is nothing like waking to the sound of surf and then seeing the Pacific from the comfort of the bed.
The view is spectacular and so is the beach. My wife and i took several walks and went for a few nice runs along the beach, seeing hardly anyone. From your unit, you can count on seeing whales spout and breach and pelicans flying close to the waves, fishing. The surfers' beach is close and we had fun watching the surfers show off their atheletism, though neither my wife and i were inclined to participate. Only strong swimmers should swim there.
We left winter in Montana for the sun. We found so much more. The Osprey will be our place for years to come.
