Enjoy your vacation at the Makaha Valley Plantation. This quiet secluded condominium complex is located in the Makaha Valley just below the majestic Waianae Mountain Range on the west shore (leeward side) of Oahu. It is located just 25 miles from the airport. Everything you could possibly want to do on Oahu is available close by or within easy driving distance. There are two championship golf courses right next door. The famous Makaha Surfing Beach is 2 miles away. This beach is host to professional surf meets with its giant waves in the winter time. In the spring and summer months you can enjoy calm waters perfect for snorkeling. Hiking trails are very close by and on site there are swimming pools, tennis, basketball, saunas and barbecue areas with incredible scenery.

Within 2 miles there is a new Starbucks and Jamba Juice. Within 5 miles you can schedule snorkel trips, whale watching trips or other fun excursions at the Waianae Harbor. Ko Olina is approx. 8 miles away and entrance is free to its 3 swimming beach lagoons. There are also restaurants on site. About 11 miles away is Kapolei. This is home to a water park, new movie theaters and plenty of shopping and places to eat. Costco and Target are there too. Anything you want to do on the island is an easy drive away.

Perfect place for my trip. It is an hour's drive from Waikiki, so plan accordingly. The property is nice and trianquil and includes a pool & jacuzzi, children's pool, bbq areas throughout, and a friendly staff. Not to mention friendly peacocks. Costco and Target and mall about 10-15 min drive away. It was a pleasure arranging plans with owners, they are great people.

We had a wonderful time staying at the condo! It was very clean and spacious. The property had beautiful trees & flowers. Our daughter loved the peacocks and the local cats. The condo was well stocked and we had no problems at all! Mathew was quick to call us back every time we had questions before arriving and answered right away when we had a question while we were there. Thank you for helping us make our stay perfect!

Hi again Mathew and Kim,
Our stay in your condo was great. Your condo was clean plenty of towels & linens,completely felt like i was at home. Beautiful place nice swimming pool and lots of peacocks. My children loved the Peacocks. The weather was Beautiful. Snorkeling was the best we ever seen. It was definatly a pleasure to stay would highley recomend to any body...

What a great time!

From my first contact with Mathew, I was pleased. He returned emails promptly and explained everything. When my husband and I arrived at the condo, we were absolutely thrilled with it. The condo was clean and well maintained. There were plenty of towels and linens. The condo complex itself was also well taken care of. We only used the pool once, but when we did it was also clean and only a few people there. There was no excessive noise or "partying". The condo is not far from various beaches and shopping, in fact you can do the whole island in a few hours. We went everywhere. The temple, Diamond Head,
we swam with the dolphins at Sea Life Park. We went to Hanuamu Bay and went snorkeling. We just had the best time! Thank you so much to Mathew and Kim we felt like we were at home! We will definitely recommend your place to anyone who asks.

Perfect Vacation Condo!!!!

Let's start by saying this place was just wonderful. We own our own timeshare, and booked our flights a little too late to book our own condo. So we looked up this great place on homeaway. A little leary of our first experience, but what a pleasant surprise. First, I must say the owner was exceptional in every way. From recommendations of places to go, and things to do, to following through after the vacation to make sure we were happy with our stay. Just knowing someone cares about what they offer is priceless. On to the condo. Spacious enough for my family of five, we were comfortable for our entire stay. A grill nearby, a pool on the property, basketball court, and a beautiful view of the mountains to the rear. The security and office staff at the complex was also helpful and courteous. An easy drive to your standard amenities, such as fast food, groceries, and of course Starbucks!! It's also far enough off the beaten path to let you experience the real Hawaii. A few miles north and you come to the end of the road, and the most wonderful beach with a spectacular view. You can hike to the point, or sit on the beach and watch Whales go by. We saw wild spinner dolphins from the road, and enjoyed perfect Hawaiian weather. A decent drive to Honolulu or Waikiki, and deceivingly easy to get to the Dole Plantation and the North Shore, where we visited often. This was an unforgettable vacation, and much of it is thanks to the comfort of the condo, and the great owner.
