A few minutes from St. Peter's Square, this is a very nice apartment, recently renovated, for max 8-9 people. White room- (2-3 people), is a big bedroom and bathroom with shower and washing machine . This bedroom has a full double bed (200 x 160 cm), one single bed (and one bed added), TV, air conditional and a beautiful chest of drawers with mirror. The large kitchen is fully equipped: oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, silverware, pots, etc. Red rooms- (2-5 people) are: one bedroom with a full double bed (200 x 160 cm), TV , air conditional and bathroom and one living with two beds (and one bed added) with wardrobe and another kitchenette.

It is located in the center of Rome, close to S. Pietro Basilica. This location is strategic: it is near Castel S.Angelo and Vatican Museums, 10 minutes' walk from Navona Square, Pantheon and Campo de’ Fiori. From here you will easily reach Spagna Steps and Piazza del Popolo (15-minute walk or with the Metro Ottaviano, near S. Peter square). Near the apartment you have the closest train station for Fiumicino airport and all buses are in front of the apartment. Around the apartment there is every kind of store and restaurants, banks, change, pharmacies, tourist office, open markets, supermarkets, post offices, hospitals, internet point, etc. The price includes cleaning of the apartment, towels and linen, taxes. Extra service Is possible, on request, to reserve: - the pick-up from and to the Airports. - one tour for Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, to avoid the very long queue of expectation to go in, only if there are still tickets available.

My Week in Rome

Our trip begin with the pickup service available to us by Alessia from FCO. We also used the service on our return home. The building as well as the white apartment was clean and in an excellent location. It was a safe neighborhood. The listing was accurate and all transactions were very professional. Everything was in walking distance. One bus stop was 2-3 minutes from the front door. Another one was 5 minutes. St Peters was 10 minutes. The grocery store was 5 minutes. There are sevaral restaurants near by and a laundry service. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Alessia.

Wish the air conditioner would have worked!

Luckily, I rented both apartments in mid-June for me and three other guests as the air conditioner did not work in the smaller apartment. The owner did try to get it fixed but to no avail. The temperatures were in the mid to high 90's and very uncomfortable. There were no fans so we could not sleep in the apt. The other apartment did have space for four guests and we made it work. However, the only air conditioner in that unit was in the one bedroom. The door to the bedroom was always left open so that the other two guests in the kitchen/living area could get a small amount of cooler air.
Alessia, the owner, is very nice; however, her English is quiet limited which made it difficult to communicate. I was surprised that we were charged for both units even though the one could really not be used.
Owner's Response: The apartment for 8 people consists of two small apartments, I proposed to the 4 Ladies to rent just one at a lower price, but they preferred to have two. Soon I understood the reason: they had 9 huge suitcases, because they have been on a cruise before. Despite they have slept in two rooms, occupied with their luggages both the apartments and used the bathroom and kitchen of the smallest apartment too.
For this reason was not possible to pay only one apt.
I just did my best to let them staying pleasant, and at the departure I called a private driver to help them to curry all their enormous luggages, remembering the difficulties at arrival in bringing at home.
