Golf courses nearby.You can easily walk down to the lake with small kids to swim. 1/4 mile from Straight Creek boat dock where you can launch your boat. Boat Rentals are available at marina - Can also tie up in front of the house on cove. Plenty of parking for boat, RV, jet ski and cars. New fence around 1 acre lot. Pet friendly with horses nearby. Shady yard with covered patio for relaxing after boating all day on lake. Enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the lawn swing under a tree in front. Or relax on the porch swings and comfy chairs. Room for parking boat, jet ski, RV and plenty of cars. 1/4 mile from Straight Creek boat dock where you can launch your boat. Not very much boat traffic in this part of the lake. Deluxe 42 inch flat screen TV with DVD player above fireplace. Full Satellite hook up. Stereo available with Cd's of all kinds. Video library available of new releases for the whole family. New white kitchen cabinets. New counter tops. All new pots and pans, dishes, etc. Ceiling fans in all rooms.

New wood flooring for easy care. Made for relaxing with family and friends. Come enjoy our beautiful Lake Norris which is the largest and most clean of the TVA lakes with over 800 miles of shoreline. Boaters and skiers agree that Lake Norris is 'stunning' Everything is provided including paper products, towels, cooking condiments, trash bags, hand soap, dishwasher soap, propane, laundry detergent. Just bring personal items.

We had a relaxing vacation and were able to bring our dogs with us! The home had everything we needed and was immaculate. The scenery was beautiful, and the setting secluded. There was boating and horseback riding nearby. Dollywood/Gatlinburg is 2 hours away. The Old Town Grill in Tazewell is a good restaurant.
Owner's Response: Yes this lake home is wonderful place to relax with friends, family and even your dogs. Stunning view over the water.

We had a great time

The house was fantastic. Two bigscreens and sat, dvd player, CD, fully functional kitchen with all utensils, great BBQ grill, 2 comfortable bedrooms, 2 baths, fenced in yard. For our 5 member family that includes our dog, it was the perfect place. We rarely left it, slept late and made brunc. Then we’d go out on the boat and come back hours later and grill up dinner. Repeat for most days.

Definitely bring a boat or rent a pontoon from Maynard at Straight Creek Dock. The lake is HUGE so the faster the boat, the better. And also buy a water-proof map. Lots of waterskiing and wakerunning going on but not too much in front of the house. That is very peaceful. We swam across it and back.

When on the lake, check out Bubba’s at the dock by the bridge. They let you bring the dog onto the back patio and provide a bucket of water. Also try the rope swing in the cove just a little farther down. The other direction is also very scenic. If you want to fish, check out the locations of the “fish attractors” on the map.

Shop for food in town at Ingles. There is also a Walmart right next to it. We ate at El Mariachi and everything was very good. Frosty Freeze is a great drive-in for frozen custard desserts. We also ate at Pete’s Place in Maynardville but we were looking for Pete’s Place at the Hickory Star Marina. The food was not that great but the service was good. It left me wondering how the other place was so now I have something to do when we come back!
