The neighborhood is as splendid as the apartment. Armory Park began as a military plaza in downtown Tucson, but in 1920, when the Transcontinental Rail Road reached Tucson, the area transformed into a residences inhabited by prominent Rail Road executives, affluent entrepreneurs, & working-class people. The neighborhood became a mix of Victorian, Tudor, Queen Anne, Spanish Colonial, Mission, & bungalow- style structures.
This historical building, built in 1903, is located just blocks from the Tucson Community Center, downtown businesses & government buildings, the railroad station, the hub for Tucson's bus system, and three culturally-rich historic neighboring districts filled with homes, museums, live theatre, shops, restaurants and churches. It is minutes away from the 4th Avenue Arts District, University of AZ Main Campus, Pima Community College, Z Mansion, the Stillwell House, & University Medical Center.
The downtown location is perfect for work & play
