It is a half mile from U.S. Hwy. 98 and Silver Sands Designer Factory Outlet (100 stores) and close to super markets (Winn-Dixie and Publix). Close by is Grand Boulevard and SanDestin's Village at Baytowne Wharf with a variety of restaurants, specialty shops and year round family activities. Destin Commons Mall is 10 minutes away... There are 8 golf courses and many popular attractions within 5 to 15 minutes drive away. Destin area attractions are Big Kahuna's Water Park, The Track Family Recreation Center, Destin HarborWalk Village; home to a host of water sports and boating/fishing activities, and restaurants like Commander's Palace and Pat O'Brian's and more. On Okaloosa IsIand is the popular Gulfarium with dolphin and sea lion shows daily and live exhibits. Kids love it! The Boardwalk and Fishing Pier are by the boardwalk where you can fish and watch dolphins play.

Great golfing is available close to the villa.: Among those open to the public are Emerald Bay, Kelly Plantation, Regatta Bay Golf and Country Club, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort: Burnt Pine, Baytowne, and The Links courses. Three 9 hole courses are located at Indian Bayou Country Club: Seminole, Creek, and Choctaw, a driving range, putting green, lounge and restaurant. The Golf Garden of Destin has a 9-hole Executive Course, Driving Range and Family Putting Course, PGA Instruction and is fully lighted April through September. Miniature golf is available too for the kids at Destin's popular Track Family Recreation Center.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our visit to the Tuscan Treasure. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It was clean, well maintained, centrally located, and quiet at night. My parents, who are in their 70's, had no problem making the short walk to the beach. Even though you have to cross a road, it is not very busy and traffic always stops for pedestrians. If you have kids with you, the shared pool was really nice. My kids had a great time meeting and playing with the other kids there. We recieved excellent customer service. They always responded to our e-mails and answered their phone when we called. Even recommended restaurants and tourist attractions to us! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a relaxing stay in a beautiful home!
