Enjoy the views of the canals from this adorable pet friendly town home, located on Bayshore Drive just 1.5 short blocks from the white sands of South Bethany's guarded Beach (Memorial Day - Labor Day). This beachy town home features 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs with a sleeping porch off one of the bedrooms (bedroom has a queen size bed, TV and DVD player, sleeping porch has a double size futon) and a deck with a retractable awning overlooking the canals off the other bedroom (this bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to a king, TV and DVD player).

Downstairs features a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances (side by side refrigerator with through the door ice and water, flat top stove, dishwasher, microwave) & two porches, one in front & one in back overlooking the canals. Also downstairs is a living room with comfortable furnishings including a queen size sofa bed, color TV, DVD/VCR player & stereo. There is a half bath downstairs & a washer/dryer. An outside shower is available to rinse off the sand after a fun day on the beach. This unique town home is located a block away from a shopping area which includes family style dining, shops, a pizza restaurant, a gourmet cafe, etc. Because it is on the water you can bring your boat (or rent one) & enjoy beautiful sunset cruises, or quiet excursions into the National Wildlife Park to view eagles, blue heron, etc. You can catch crabs right off the bulkhead (please don't use the docks, they are private property, not part of this Townhome) & enjoy family fun in the large yard.

The townhome is located halfway between Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD. This general area offers tax-free outlet shopping, water sports, mini golf, championship golf, fine dining, boardwalks, etc. all within walking distance to a half hour or less drive from the townhome.

Wonderful Vacation

My husband and I indulged ourselves with a week at this townhome for our 30th anniversary and had a wonderful vacation. We chose this particular place because of its proximity to the beach and its distance from Ocean City. Although we enjoyed the easy walk to the beach everyday, allowing for lots of time in the surf and strolls at sunset, we ended up being enchanted with the canals behind the home. We rented a kayak, explored the nearby wildlife refuge, and were visited daily by all sorts of wildlife, including a pair of ducks who quacked outside the door to let us know it was time to feed them. Our landlady, Rose, was very accessible, instantly responding to any and all questions/problems (Thanks, Rose!). We had easy access to restaurants, etc but also appreciated the quiet and secluded nature of South Bethany, where everyone is friendly and dogs are loved. We hope to return next year and recommend this clean and comfortable townhome to any one looking for a quiet, family vacation.

Nice and Relaxing

Just got back from a very nice week at South Bethany Beach. The house was very cozy and in a very nice area. It was easy to walk our dogs and also go for a nice bike ride. Everything was close by and We especially enjoyed the canal area out back. Thank you for a very relaxing vacation!

A great vacation

My family just returned from a GREAT week at the beach! Our stay at this townhouse was absolutely wonderful! The accomodations were great, we had everything we needed and the screened porches and open terrace were so inviting. It was so nice to sit out on the back porch and look at the canal where we saw ducks and turtles along with the fish. The dog enjoyed the large yard as well. And right across the street was the ocean where we spend a lot of our time as well.
Very close to the Bethany Boardwalk and all the wonderful shops/eateries.
I would recommend and look forward to coming back next year. The best rental by far! Thanks for a great week.
