I spend a week at Tortuga Bay which was a bit short but enjoyed it to the fullest. We got in late a drove from the capital to Puna Cana. Once we reached Punta Cana direction were easy. One snag we had was that the property spoke about 5 bedrooms which was true but one room was occupied by the house keeper. Property was celan and well mantained. I would just recommend a paint job soon and another T.V. or t.v in the rooms.
All in all we had a good time and would sure do it again.
Tortuga Bay is a great family vacation and would recommend it to friends. Resataurants on the property are abit pricey but we expected that. What was missing was nite life in Punta Cana as a whole. Once again a great place to be.

House was great! One bedroom downstairs w/2 queen beds; three bedrooms upstairs w/1 king, 2 queens, 2 twin beds. 5th bedroom for maid. Maid kept house cleaned, made beds, washed our clothes/towels, cleaned kitchen and washed dishs after every meal, helpful w/renting golf cart/buying groceries. She was awesome! Pool was great; patio wicker furniture was new. House had no beach towels. Golf cart rental (6 person cart about $60) is necessary to get around entire resort & to the beach. Purchase ALL groceries before going to house. House had no spices, dish soap, laundry soap, bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. Kitchen had no hand towels or dish rags. Kitchen appliances were new, but oven would not work. Wi-Fi is available for internet; there is a password. Airport is about 5 minutes away. Call main resort for taxi for shopping or groceries.
