Summer 2010 - Chester Race week - August. Ask about our 'Special Fall/Winter Rates for 2009/2010. Just a short drive from Chester you will find The Anchorage at Deep Cove...traditional, carefree seaside living. “Wow”! That is the usual comment from our guests as they open the blinds and catch their first view of Deep Cove. Situated off Mahone Bay NS you will discover the well protected inlet of Deep Cove. Our little community is ideal for “getting away from it all”. The waters of Deep Cove are more than just “eye candy”. Moorage is well protected for recreational boaters and kayakers alike. Fishing is plentiful and is right in your backyard, Don’t forget your scuba gear! Around the Bay both hikers and cyclists will experience endless adventures. Deep Cove is 12 kms from Chester which is an historical, vibrant, sailing town with live theatre, pubs, cafes, quality restaurants. There are several pristine white sand beaches. Wine tours are available in the area. Kayaking and biking are very popular. Lots of summer festivals. Whale Watching in the Bay of Fundy is a must. The historic town of Lunenberg and Mahone Bay are a short drive. and don't forget Peggy's Cove and Halifax. The Tall Ships are coming summer of 2009.
