Bath holiday

There were 10 of us ranging from 20 months to 65 years old. The house was big enough for all of us to be inside but not be in each others way. The indoor swimming pool is an awesome feature. We could swim late at night when it would have been too buggy to be outside. It was also great because when it rained we could still swim. To keep the pool temp up it helped to cover the pool every night, but the reel was a bit tricky to work. The property and house was clean and well maintained. The house had all the features that were listed on the website. We could not get too close to the river located on the property. The land was too spongy but this year had an abundant amount of rain. There was not air conditioning, but the fans provided kept the house cool. The upstairs rooms were a bit warmer than the rest of the house.
There were many places to get fresh seafood and many places to eat at. There were many small towns around that had terrific shops. Booth Bay Harbor was one of our favorites. One of the most favorite things we did was go on a sailboat in Portland. It was a bit of a drive, but was well worth it. The kids were able to be part of the crew and steer the sailboat and yell "all about" to the rest of the crew.
We went at the end of July, the ocean was beautiful, but a bit cold.
The renters were wonderful people. They would get back to you quickly when you had questions through either email or telephone.
I would recommend this house to others for a relaxing vacation in Maine
