The apartment was completely renovated in 2004, got insulated glass windows installed in 2006 and antique furniture and crystal lights in 2007 / 2008) It is located on the top floor of a restored house on the upper edge of Alfama in the historic center of Lisbon. The spectacular view and the characteristic atmosphere of neighborhood are fascinating. You have an view of what is happening in the streets, but also find absolute silence, if you desire. It's located on the third floor of the house and is supported by a traditional diagonal staircase, which in a straight line from the entrance to the house. The bottom two floors of the house are still in the period before the great earthquake of 1755 and was not destroyed by this. The upper two floors were built in the 19th Century. The flat is very centrally located and has all day sunshine (except, when it is cloudy ...)

Notes: The apartment has a very specific layout, a tour of all the rooms. The two rooms have a double bed and have access to the porch, where the two bell towers of the monastery 'São Vicente' through the branches of the trees are visible. The large kitchen is fully equipped and, if necessary, use of the washing machine and laundry dryer available. Beside of it there's a living room with Sofas and a separated dining room, the two of them offering a lovely view of the castle hill. We spend one month of the summer vacation with our children in the apartment. The apartment has 2 mobile electric heaters which can be put in any room if desired.

Further Details: The apartment has a very central location in a historic building in the heart of the old city of Lisbon. It is well developed and is on the tram line No 28. The Monastery of Sao Vicente, the Castle Hill and the streets of Alfama are a few minutes away. Go on city tours of this place of rest and enjoy the panoramic view from every window. Or stay in the apartment and enjoy the special atmosphere and the high, bright rooms.

Specials:: Enjoy a freshly squeezed orange juice in the winter! We may pick all the oranges of the tree of our neighbour, that are within our range. The tree is in the back yard of the house and we have a special instrument to pick them :-)

Schöner Urlaub - tolle Ferienwohnung

Im August haben meine zwei Kolleginnen und ich eine Woche in Lissabon verbracht und wir waren mit der Wahl unserer Unterkunft sehr zufrieden :)

Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und durch die vielen Hinweise, die er gegeben hat, fühlten wir uns auch gut vorbereitet.

Wir empfehlen den Kauf einer Tageskarte. Sie kostet 3,70 € (+ 0,50€ für die wiederaufladbare Karte) und man kann damit Straßenbahnen (auch die 28), Busse und die Metro nutzen. Sogar im Santa Justa Elevator war unsere Karte gültig.

Wenn man aus der Haustür kommt, geht man ein paar Meter nach unten und dann nach links, dort trifft man direkt auf eine Haltestelle der 28.

Lissabon hat so viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bieten, dass ich hier nicht alle aufzählen will, dazu gibt's ja auch Reiseführer.

Ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen, zum Mirador de Graca (einfach die Straße Travessa da monicas nach oben) zu gehen und die Aussicht zu genießen oder nach einem anstrengenden Sightseeing-Tag dort einfach mal auszuruhen und ein Getränk oder Snacks zu bestellen.

Einen noch besseren Ausblick hat man vom Mirador Senhora do monte, dort gibt es aber nichts zu kaufen, Getränke sollte man also mitnehmen ;)

Die Wohnung war genau wie hier beschrieben. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und auch mehrmals abends gekocht.
Etwas anstrengend waren die 50 Stufen von der Haus- bis zur Wohnungstür, aber wir haben das einfach sportlich genommen.

Wer abends noch Energie zum Ausgehen hat, findet viele Möglichkeiten, angefangen von den vielen kleinen Restaurants in der Alfama - empfehlen können wir das Pateo 13 - bis hin zu den Fadolokalen oder man fährt einfach mit der 28 bis zum Bairro Alto.

Ich werde diese Ferienwohnung sicher weiterempfehlen.

Ein Traum wird wahr!

Mitten in der Altstadt Alfama lag die Wohnung trotzdem fast wie im Dorf. Nach dem Tagesprogramm wurde sie zur erholsamen Insel. Schön eingerichtete Räume, gut gepflegt - und natürlich mit unvergesslichem Blick auf einige schönste Teile Lissabons.Wie sich die Online - Ankündigungen insgesamt bewahrheiteten, waren dann auch die persönlichen Kontakte zur Anmietung, zum Ankommen und Abfahren und den 'wichtigen' Dingen der ersten 1-2 Tage in der angenehmsten menschlichen Art zu regeln. Eine herrliche Woche in Lissabon! Die Wohnung haben wir bereits und werden wir weiter im Freundeskreis empfehlen! Und natürlich Lissabon...!

Sehr schöne FeWo!Sehr gut geeignet f. Städteurlaub

Wir haben zu zweit eine Woche in Lisboa verbracht. Die FeWo war f. den Städteurlaub ausgezeichnet geeignet. Kurz die wichtigsten Aspekte:

1. Lage: sehr ruhig im Altstadtbezirk (s.Beschreibg.), Tram u. Taxi 3-5 Laufminuten entfernt, Miradouro da Graca (excellent zum Sonnenuntergang-über-Lisboa-angucken beim kühlen Drink nach anstrengendem Tag) liegt noch näher. Cafe mit Cremetörtchen u. gutem Espresso ebenso in der Largo da Graca. Zum Supermercado läuft man 10 Min. Dort bekommt man alles Notwendige. Castelo San Jorge und die Kathedrale liegen auch nur ein paar Minuten entfernt.

2. Lärm: Nichts Störendes. Selten aufheulende 2Takter-Mofas gehören zu einer südeuropäischen Stadt ebenso dazu wie die Kirchenglocken. Sonstigen Straßenlärm gab es nicht, da die Travessa S. Monicas kaum befahren ist. Von den anderen Bewohnern des Hauses haben wir gar nichts mitbekommen. Außerdem gibt es ja die neuen Lärmschutzfenster.

3. FeWogröße: Die Wohnung ist gut mit 4-5 (z.B. 2 sich gut verstehende Pärchen u. 1 Kind) Personen bewohnbar. Auch die Küche und die Stube sind angenehm groß.

4. Ausstattung und Zustand: Einwandfrei! Es gab alles, was wir brauchten. Wir haben übrigens meist selbst gekocht. Das ging sehr gut. Alles war sauber und in Ordnung.
Betten fanden wir angenehm. Matratzen haben die geeignete Härte/Weiche.

5. Aussicht: Die Wohnung liegt recht hoch wie auch das Haus insgesamt. Von der Stube aus hat man einen schönen Rundumblick über weite Bereiche der Altstadt und über den Tejo in SW-Richtung und in den Norden zu den modernen Gebieten. Besonders zum Sonnenaufgang sehr inspirierende Anblicke!!!

6. Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort: Paula, eine sehr nette Frau, die unten im Haus wohnt. Sie hat uns alles wichtige erklärt.

7. Vorbereitung / Abwicklung, d.h. Buchung etc., völlig problemlos. Die vom Vermieter bereitgestellten Unterlagen waren sehr hilfreich (z.B. bezügl. Anfahrt mit dem Taxi)

8. Fazit: Für einen Städteurlaub, bei dem man gern vieles selbst entdeckt, sehr geeignet. Nettes Ambiente, gut zum Wohlfühlen, besonders wenn man ein anstrengendes Tagesprogramm hinter sich hat.

Für Lisboa insgesamt gilt u.E. (unabghängig von der FeWo): Man sollte nicht beinlahm sein. Es gibt sehr viel zu erlaufen - und das mit viel Steigungen. Aber dadurch entdeckt man auch viele interessante Details und kommt schneller mit Portugiesen ins Gespräch.

absolutely perfect! this appartement lies directly in the center of lisboa. you can get to any interessting points of the center by foot, even the night clubs.

the rooms are simple, having enough place. the living room is truely a room to rest.

Wunderschöne Wohnung, ideale Lage zur Erkundung

Die Ferienwohnung in der Travessa das Monicas ist wunderschön. Gerne hätten wir noch mehr Zeit in der geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung verbracht.
Die Ausstattung und Gestaltung der Räume ist sehr gelungen.
Es gibt wohl keinen Ort von welchem man Lissabon besser erkunden könnte (insbesondere das Altstadtviertel Alfama).

Die Beschreibungen im Online-Inserat sind absolut zutreffend. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfreich mit der Bereitstellung einer Informationsbroschüre zur Wohnung, der Umgebung und der Anreise.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gepflegt und sauber.

Ich würde das Feriendomizil stets meinen Freunden weiterempfehlen.
