This House has Duende

Ronda is easily one of the most beautiful towns in Southern Spain and Casa Sofia is in best part of Ronda's old city.

The house is mix of Arab and Spanish architecture. Tiled floors, three-foot thick, mosaic walls and lots of earth tone colors. The kitchen and bathrooms are nicely done and looked brand new.

The house is HUGE. Three stories. Two giant bedrooms. One kids bedroom. The owners actually combined two houses. Opened up a lot interior space. We loved the roof deck, which had 360 degree views of the old city and area mountains. Big thumbs up.

Right on Ronda

Just a short blurb about Casa Sofia. We loved the open spaces, large bedrooms, and gorgeous interiors. Ronda is a postcard town in Southern Spain. And Casa Sofia is a postcard hideaway. Finding it was a snap. But parking can be tricky on Ronda's narrow roads. Over the course of one week, my family did some serious damage ... shopping, eating our way across Ronda. At the end of a long day, it was always nice to return to Casa Sofia. We got to read, relax and catch a regular nap. We also made regular use of the spectacular sun deck every morning and every night.
Owner's Response: There is street parking by Casa Sofia, but it requires some parallel parking skills. We recommend parking on Calle Santo Domingo near the Casa de Moro. This is about 50 meters from Casa Sofia.
