Dining Area: Pub table height with four sturdy chairs plus two additional chairs at the granite bar. Above the table is a tropical-theme lamp with 'hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil' monkeys. The wood pub table has palm leaves carved into each of the four corners to add a touch of whimsy. And, the pub table has a built in wine rack to hold ten bottles of wine – how cool is that?

Fitness Center: After all the wonderful eating on the island, work off a few pounds in our newly remodeled Fitness Center. The Center is right next door to our building and includes weights and resistance machines. Each of the treadmills and stationary bikes have individual TVs. There is also an indoor pool, another hot tub and a sauna.

Amenities of the Villamare Complex: This complex is directly on the Atlantic Ocean and sits between the Marriott Hotel and the Disney property. Further down the road is the Hilton Hotel. A large pool is surrounded by mesh beach lounges and palm trees. There is a hot tub for the adults and a kiddie pool. Outside bathrooms accommodate both male and female sun worshipers. Included in the pool area is a cabana for family gatherings. Cross the dunes on the boardwalk and you are at the ocean. Lifeguards are available to rent umbrellas, small boats and those funny looking tricycles you ride on the ocean.

Golf: Golf, Tennis, and Other Recreation: There are three golf courses and a tennis facility in Palmetto Dunes. The George Fazio Golf Course, the Palmetto Dunes Golf and Tennis Center and the Trent Jones Golf Course. Just up the road is the Palmetto Dunes Rental Company where guests rent bikes, fishing gear and other equipment.
