Small and isolated, but a terrific deal

The pictures show you the place. It is very small and not on the lake (which is visible across the street, but actual use requires a quick drive up to the public launch). The place feels very much like you are borrowing your friend's apartment -- DVD's there, condiments in the refrigerator, etc. For a small family visiting the area, a few fisherman, or a business traveller needing so privacy who'd rather not eat more hotel food -- this place is quaint and sufficient. And you cannot beat the price. Great communication with owner.
We stayed for three nights in June - didn't get a chance to use the fire bowl and back deck, but would on next visit. Many of the furnishings were new. Was great to get up and fix eggs, toast. Had laundry facility for cleaning clothes after a full day of canoeing. Wireless internet and cable were great for evening for Dad and kids.
No room to ballroom dance, but you'll sure have a ball exploring the area and having a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. For the right groups with modest needs, this was a terrific find.
