What's great about Scottsdale:: We've been visiting Scottsdale about twice a year for ten years and we love it! As Alberta residents, it's great to escape the cold winters and enjoy some relaxing time lounging by the pool, shopping, sightseeing and dining out. There are so many great restaurants in the Scottsdale area and we enjoy trying a few new ones each time we visit. One of the best things about Scottsdale is that the weather is very consistent - we almost always awake to warm, sunny blue sky days.

A few of our favorite restaurants:: PF Chang's at Kierland Commons, Barcelona, The Melting Pot, Macayo's Mexican Kitchen, Los Olivos Mexican Patio in Old Scottsdale, Benihana (great place for kids), Paradise Bakery & Cafe

Favorite places to shop:: Kierland Commons, Desert Ridge Marketplace, the shops in Old Scottsdale

Perfect getaway

The condo was everything that we expected and more. It was clean, with beautiful furnishings and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware.
The area was quiet and peaceful, yet close to all amenties like shopping and restauraunts.
We used the pool everyday, water was warm and the pool area well maintained. No problem getting a lounger either.
Thank you Karen for all the information you sent us as well as the booklets and maps in the condo.

A Fabulous place to stay!!

We were 2 couples who stayed at this condo for a week to take in the U2 concert and play golf. The weather was excellent and the condo itsself was first class!! All the dishes, appliances, linens and furnishings were high end, the apartment was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the balcony every evening. The complex was very quiet, the pool and area were really well maintained and we were only sorry that we didnt stay a bit longer so we could have BBQ'd and enjoyed the facilities more. Karen provided very helpful tips on where to go and what to do. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, its perfect for 2 couples as both bedrooms have fantastic beds and linens and flat screen TV's as well as walk in closets. The master suite has an en-suite, and the other room was just as good as the bathroom was right by the door, it may as well have been called an en-suite too really. Stay here!!! You'll love it!!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this condo. We were traveling with my teenage daughter and friend. We all really enjoyed the pool and was glad that it was warm enough at the beginning of March to use it. The location was excellent and close to shopping centers that were within walking distance. We were impressed with how well the landscaping and pool area is maintained by The Allison Condominiums complex and the area is very clean. The location is also very accessible to highways and main roads. The beds were a bit high though and would be difficult for older people to get into. Other than that I would highly recommend staying there.

Amazing vacation in Scottsdale

This lovely well equipped condo far exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was decorated in a tasteful southwestern theme with great artwork - even the cutlery, dishes and 'big screen' were absolutely top end. The setting here was extremely quiet and peaceful with the balcony overlooking a gorgeous pool with waterfalls and bbqs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this perfectly situated location. We especially enjoyed the tips on things to do and places to eat from Karen, the owner. We can't wait to make a return visit to this awesome 'winter escape'! Thanks again for letting us use your beautiful 'home away from home'.

the 4 of us went and had a great time everything it says is true about the place. we went on an exciting trip to sedona to the vortex. we topped off our week by going horseback riding into the desert at ponderosa ranch for two hours. we had a great time just sitting around the hot tub and pool . we cooked out and enjoyed the neighbors . the trip was a beautiful and enlightening one for me. I would highly recommend it.
