Large, beautifully furnished 4 bedroom/3 bath split-level island home is located 50 yards from sparkling Baby Beach (a quiet, protected blue lagoon in the heart of Poipu Beach). We have just finished renovating the interior with new carpet, paint, Travertine tile flooring, bathroom fixtures, granite counters, cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room area with flat-screen television, cathedral ceilings, large lanais, and ceiling fans throughout. Downstairs there is a King bedroom, full bath, and living area with a flat-screen television. Major appliances including washer & dryer, cable flat screen televisions, Internet Connection, DVD player, stereo, and outdoor gas barbecue, and bicycles in garage for our guests to use. The best snorkeling beaches on the island are within walking distance along with the newly built Kukuiula Shopping Center. Just up the road is the Spouting Horn where you can enjoy the early sunrise and see whales and sea turtles swimming by.

What a great place to stay for our family vacation. Plenty of room for all us. We will definitely be back to stay again next year.

Cozy house, wonderful ameneties & service

We visited Kauai with another family (total of 4 adult and 4 kids under five) and had a very pleasant week at Hale Beach Inn. It really is only steps from Baby Beach-- which we had to ourselves or shared with only a few families each day. Terrific tide-pooling (sited all sorts of fish, eel, crabs, urchins during low tide) with our young kids. The house itself is thoughtfully appointed including a full array of beach equipment and towels. The new kitchen is especially nice with real cooks' knives, pots, plenty of wine glasses, even a rice cooker. And aving access to Shelley (who helps manage the property) is what separates this rental from other rentals we have tried. She was incredible responsive and helpful (she even arranged for a brand new pack and play to be available for our stay.)
