Rose Ridge Chalet sits on a south facing ridge near Palmer, Alaska. The full wall of windows allows a panoramic view of several mountains including Lazy Mountain, Pioneer Peak and most of the Chugach Range. Knik Glacier is nestled at the end of the valley in center view. Surrounded by woods, wildlife to watch for include: moose, birds, squirrels, and maybe an occasional fox or black bear. The chalet is two-story, with a large bedroom with two queen beds and a bath on the second level. The main level features another bedroom with one queen, one bath, and living/dining area. The full kitchen is stocked with breakfast items to get you started. There is a waher/dryer in main level bath. For your enjoyment, there are movies and games. A patio outside with a BBQ grill is the perfect place to relax and enjoy our long summer evenings. This is a very peaceful location.

One hour north of Anchorage, Palmer and the Mat-Su Valley is a rural farming community that is at the intersection of the Parks Highway to Fairbanks and Denali Natl Park and the Glenn Highway to Tok and Valdez. It is the perfect location to base out of as there are many attractions in the immediate area and several directions to go for short day trips.
