Comfortable older home .Built in the 50's has been partly remodeled. Nice back yard with pool. Close to malls, airport, walk to light rail, 10 minutes to downtown, for games and great activities. Cross streets: Camelback and 7th Ave. Phoenix. THis location is great because very centrally located. Easy to get to all areas of metro Phoenix. New Light Rail 4 blocks, Can ride to Tempe, Mesa, Downtown Phoenix. Just opened end of Dec

Notes: THere is a private pool, BUT IT IS NOT HEATED, I don't go in until end of may But I am a baby anything before is at your own risk. Nice to sit by and look at the other months.I have basic cable TV only, There is a DVD player with some movies, also.

My Rates are very reasonable, I Want people who will take care of it.Plus,this is an older home in an older neighborhood.Built in the 50's. Houses are well kept, this home has been partially remodeled but does have some old features like single pane windows. small bathrooms etc It could still use some more remodeling,If you are looking for the 'perfect everything home ' this is not it. IT is very comfortable, with a nice back yard, and pool .Very centrally located, close to downtown and easy access to all subburbs . There is also an apartment at the end of the home, does have separate entrance, but Washer and Dryer are shared, which is off the back patio. Steve and Jeannie live in apt on the end, Steve is the caretaker, if you have problems let him know.

They are quiet and you won't see much of them. Steve is the caretaker and fixes things that need to be fixed, He will meet you with the key and help with whatever needed. I live in Prescott 2 hours away. thanks barb

There is Internet to the home but no computer on site. I bring my laptop down when I go.I have BASIC cable TV only.

Other Activities: lots of hiking close by, convention center and chase ball field 6 miles close to Barrows and Phoenix Childrens Hospital

This home was an oasis for our family in August '09. It was inviting and friendly. The high ceilings and many archways made it pleasing and spacious, charming and restful. There is a walk-in shower with great water pressure. The back yard is private, pretty, and the pool was the highlight of our stay. At night, the pool lights were on, and the water temperature was perfect.

The whole back wall of the home has a bank of windows that allows a full view of the backyard and pool, when you prefer to stay indoors to watch the fun. The front entrance is tree shaded. We found it comfortable to be outside even though it was August. The interior is contempory with tasteful and comfortable furnishings, a good combination of the charm of an older home with modern aminities.

We stayed at this house Apr.12-19th; it is cutely decorated; the kitchen is nice and has every item you could possibly require plus lots of dry goods; living room is roomy and comfy; beds comfy, good AC. Pool was not ready during our stay; backyard patio very pleasant, wild birds serenaded us constantly, neighbor very nice, gave us produce from his garden and fashioned a fruit stick hook to pluck ripe grapefruits from the backyard tree, fabulously sweet, we ate them all day long. Neighborhood is older but very quiet, no problems. A little windowsill cleaning was all that I did, suited us 6 adults with plenty of room, fridge & stove everything worked well.
Owner's Response: Had a rain and wind storm right before they got there, is tough with pools, weather is a big factor. I know the pool was a big factor, I felt bad and returned $200.00 of their rent to them. barb
