The minute you see the bungalow at VillaRosa - Arecibo - with its extra large wrap around terrace, hammock, lounge chairs and breathtaking views - you will know that you have arrived in paradise. The porch is perfect for entertaining your friends or just lazing the days away, watching the many moods of the oceans. After you take a dip in the secluded beach cove, shower off the sand in one of our full outdoor bathrooms before heading inside, where there is 1 bedroom, 1 bath, a modern kitchen and a comfy living room, fully equipped with TV, DVD, home stereo with iPod dock. It sleeps 4 comfortably; with a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Don’t let the size of the house stop you from planning your event here. It sits on over 3400 square meters (almost an acre), allowing you to host a variety of functions including: wedding receptions, barbecues, birthday bashes, reunions…the list is as long your imagination!

Another Review From a Recent Customer (Sept 2009): 'Ms Greene, I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you we had a great time. We could not ask for better weather and a prettier place to stay. It was quiet and private. The beach was just great with no one to be found around. I think it would be easy to just lay on the patio forever. We did travel all around the island. We also go lost a few times, but we were in not hurry to get anywhere. We found that the Super Market you had listed was closed, but there was a market in town. We did find the little Bakery & Pizza place a short walk from the house. They make a great sandwich. Thanks for a great place to stay. Roger, Julie, and Aiden PS: I really liked your care takers. They were nice to talk to.'

Just returned from my stay at Villa Rosa - Arecibo for 4 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. Pictures are beautiful but do not do it justice - even better in person! Large balcony to enjoy the sunrise and sunset, only steps to the beach and the house has everything you could possibly need - was told I only needed to bring beach towels - and this was the truth. Did not want to leave and can't wait to go back!

In love with this place

I stayed there for a week and felt in love with the place. The house is warm, comfortable and the view is amazing. I enjoyed the luxury of looking over the beach and rocks from the house when I wanted to relax to being in the water in less than a minute when I wanted to swim. The location is quiet, relaxing, and safe. I found it convenient to have a kitchen and a wine chiller inside it. If you're looking to get away with a significant other or just relax and party with friend, this is the place to be.

Breathtaking!

We travelled from Colorado for my cousins wedding at Villa Rosa and may I say this is the most beautiful place I've seen in Puerto Rico and I lived there for 10 years. The view was spectacular and breathtaking, the beach and islet are undescribable and the property well, you have to see for yourself.
The villa is clean and very well kept and also fully furnished.
This is definitely a piece of paradise and I will definitely come back with my family!

Perfect spot

I think this is the most beautiful place that Puerto Rico has to offer. There is a hammock that overlooks the beach. The best part is having an enormous private beach. If you like to surf there is an inlet for that. If you are not into extreme sports, there is a calm beach right outside your door. There are even areas where you can go fishing or lobster diving. There is plenty of shade around the grassed parts of the property. I would love to honeymoon here.

By the way we have already had a wedding since you were here last, on May 15, 2009 and have two more scheduled in July. All of the couples are spending at least the first night of their honeymoon at the house in Arecibo. Do let us know when you will be ready for yours. There are beautifhl photos on the website if you would like to revisit.
