The estate has been restored in original Marchigian style and is situated on a hill with a fantastic view of the sea. Three houses, an old Church, the pool and the 6,000 m² park-like garden help to make this a refuge of peace and quiet. There are five apartments to choose from, suitable for a maximum of 20 people. During the restoration we tried to avoid 'classical' hotel standards. Each apartment has its own charm by its individual and charming interior. All holiday homes have a cosy kitchen/dining area, a spacious bathroom, central heating and satellite TV. Our residents can dispose of the swimming pool, the barbecue, the bar, numerous quiet resting places and a sand place for games like boccia, badminton, volleyball. Borgo Vecchio is situated in a region of a cultural, culinary and scenic variety and the distance to the different beaches is only a few kilometres.

Apartment 'Girasole' disposes of a spacious living-/bedroom with one double bed (extra bed possible) and beautiful antique furniture, a well equipped kitchen with dining area, a bathroom with shower and bidet, TV (sat). This lovely holiday flat (about 45 m²) is located on the first floor and very stylish. In front of both sides of the apartment there are two outdoor areas to choose from. You can relish your breakfast in the shadow of a huge acacia and enjoy the impressing sunset with a glass of wine after dinner. During the holiday season we offer apartment 'Girasole' and apartment 'Nido' together to families with elder children for the price of apartment 'Mar e Monte' - if all other family flats are already booked.

San Costanzo is only about 3 km away. The contemplative little town with its imposing Malatesta fortress is located between the old Roman town Fano and the famous sea resort Senigallia along the Adriatic Sea. San Costanzo offers all shopping facilities, bars, cafés, restaurants and pizzerias, a post office, a pharmacy, doctors and not at least interesting historic buildings. You still can find here originality and typical Italian flair. To the railway station of Fano it takes you only 15 minutes by car and Ancona Airport is only 45 km away. You can choose as well from the airports Forli, Rimini or Bologna which you reach in 1 - 1,5 hours and meanwhile there are a lot of inexpensive flights to come over here to Le Marche by aeroplane. A change of beach life you will find in all the well restored villages and towns nearby with their markets, festivals and concerts. The local restaurants offer fresh and homemade pastas and delicious meat and seafood specialities.

Location:: San Costanzo with its good shopping is just 3 km away. The romantic village with its imposing Malatesta Fortress is situated between 'Fano', a lovely old Roman town and 'Senigallia', one of the most famous old seaside resorts along the Adria. San Costanzo offers nearly all shopping possibilities, bars, restaurants, banks, a post-office and service stations.

Italian cooking:: Our italian cook is cooking for you 1-2 times a week a typical Marchigian dinner; Sometimes we prepare for our guests pizza in our pizza oven. The dinner is served at the pool or in the church.

Courses:: Cooking, Pottery and Italian Language on Borgo Vecchio only during the Low Season (before 1st of June or after 15th of September). Italian Language Courses : Dante Alighieri School Mondavio (15 minutes by car)- the whole year.

Other Activities: boccia, badminton, volleyball

Wunderschöne, gepflegte und absolut ruhige Anlage die unseren Erwartungen und der Beschreibung im Internet voll entsprochen hat. Die Betreiber Ulla und Harry haben sich nie aufgedrängt, waren bei Fragen aber immer hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre war absolut ungezwungen. Und die Marken sind sowieso en traumhaftes Gebiet zum Urlaubmachen.
Kann man ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen - und auch selber wieder besuchen.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, die Appartements sind sauber und
großzügig, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden.
Besonders gut hat uns der Swimmingpool mit seinen verschiedenen
Ruheplätzchen gefallen. Die netten Vermieter Harry und Ulla waren jederzeit bereit, uns Ausflugtipps oder sonstige Infos zu geben.
Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen mit netten Leuten auf dem
Landgut verbracht.

Rundumsorgloswohlfühlbaumelpaket

Wir verbrachten gut zwei Wochen im Girasole und haben uns rundum wohl
gefühlt.
Sowohl die Begenung mit Ulla und Harry ist etwas Besonderes, wie auch der
Kontakt zu allen anderen "Mitbewohnern" viel Spaß gemacht hat.
Wer hier anderes erlebt hat, hat weder Augen noch Herz geöffnet.
Hier fährt man nicht hin um den Strand zu genießen - hier steht das Erleben
von italienischem Leben, Kultur, Essen, Wein... im Vordergrund und das
kann man wirklich gut, vor allem mit den entsprechenden Insidertips von Ulla
und Harry.

Erholsamer Urlaub in Wohlfühlatmosphäre

Auch wir können die überaus positiven Beurteilungen nur bestätigen. Die Anlage und das Appartment sind sehr sauber und gepflegt, wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, auch in der Küche ist alles vorhanden. Hand- und Badetücher waren dick und flauschig. Ulla und Harry, Ihr macht das toll, weiter so! Bei Temperaturen von fast 40° haben wir die Ruhe und Idylle der Anlage genossen, im riesigen Garten fand sich immer ein schattiges Plätzchen, und der Pool war Gold wert. Unsere Hündin Lea und Hund Paul waren dicke Freunde, die sich dort ungestört austoben konnten. Der Strand ist gut zu erreichen, für uns war es dort mit dem Hund nur zu heiß. Wir hatten sehr angenehme Mitbewohner, man traf sich zwanglos auf einen Kaffee, Wein o.ä. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein schönes Domizil mit tollem Garten und sauberem Pool. Die Bar kam bei unserm Sohn sehr gut an. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt! Gute Insidertipps bezüglich Restaurants gab´s von Ulla, danke dafür.
